What a great place! We stayed overnight after a function. Great food in the evening and breakfast; the room has all that we needed and the staff were so so friendly and helpful. We will be back!

Called for a drink while out walking. Ordered a bowl of chips and they were really quick, hot and tasted good.

They did a wonderful carvery for our group of about 50 people. Drinks were served quickly and efficiently, and the food was hot, plentiful and good quality. Very friendly staff. We'll be back next year!

Stopped at the Globe Inn for lunch as in the area and following recommendations. We were impressed with the courtesy extended towards us, food (GF Options available) and overall ambience. We will most definitely return.

Lovely family run pub with accommodation as well. Large parking behind and the pub is centrally located.Food - excellent selection on menu and very nice. Good service as well. For those staying there is plenty of options for breakfast.Pub - traditional and beautifully decorated. Only comment would be the accommodation above appears slightly dated and needing tlc in places but overall very comfy and clean.Special comment to the attentiveness and friendliness of the staff :)Kid-friendliness: Large garden with kids play area. Also bunk beds in accommodation above the pub.

Were going to eat one evening but the welcome that we received from the man behind the bar was nonexistent. Don't understand why such inhospitable people are attracted into the hospitality trade!!!!!
