Distinctly average breakfast. Far better available locally at Route2, The Cafe or Greendale.

Waited 50 mins for food. The hearty breakfast was ok, the poached eggs were hard, and toast was cold.

The cakes are not worth the money.£6 for a raspberry cheesecake which was very disappointing. It was essentially a moose with what must have been a whole packet of gelatine!Wobbled around on the plate, the texture was spongy and the flavour seemed very synthetic and artifical. That's the last time I go to the restaurant. The only one worth visiting is Cow and Cacao where the food is drastically better.

My partner and I had awful food poisoning after eating the squid at the restaurant which really ruined our holiday. Clearly there was some contamination or dubious hand hygiene.

The new restaurant at Darts Farm is a very pleasant surprise. Really comfortable environment, great service and the food very fresh and well cooked. A little pricey but worth it as far as we were concerned! Great with little children too! Make sure you book in advance!

We went to the coffee shop inside Darts Farm yesterday and it was great.Unfortunately the The Shack coffee shop is the polar opposite. I ordered three drinks: flat white, a hot chocolate and a chai latte. All three tasted of burnt milk! The flat white had no coffee flavor, the hot chocolate had no chocolate except a sprinkling on the top and the chai latte was a pile resemblance of the lovely drink we had the day before.I think employing untrained teenage baristas is probably the reason for the poor quality of beverage.I will not return. ☕?❌

Lovely food and polite staff, but service times have deteriorated in recent years. I asked for a number of items that unfortunately never showed up. There are lots of staff but I think it’s safe to say that they’re not put to their best use. They need to visit the table area more often. I also ordered a dessert and was surprised at the lack of custard that is advertised. That being said, the food was very nice and met my expectations. I will be visiting again, but next time with my hopes held out for some improvement.Vegetarian options: There are some vegetarian and vegan options, but some are a little out of the ordinary. Unfortunately there is no veg roast, just a meat roast without the meat, charged at the same price, which is NOT good.Kid-friendliness: The restaurant has child seating, a small play area and plenty of kids options.Parking: There is lots of parking, but it fills up extremely quickly, so time it right to avoid missing out on a space.Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant has a lift, and is wheelchair accessible.Dietary restrictions: There are some options on the menu that accommodate dietary requirements, but not as many as I would have liked.
Went in on a Sunday about 2.40. Hot food stops at 3.00 on a Sunday. I had a chicken and bacon club sandwhich, which was really lovely and the strawberry milkshake was amazing. Service was excellent, and staff friendly and helpful.

The outside cafe is a dive. I come here regularly and without fail the people in that outdoor cafe don't know the meaning of hygiene. Constantly touching their phones and faces and noses then touching your food.

Cinnamon bun with a latte was good. Kids enjoyed the ice-cream. Queue to get in but the service was fast.
