What a beautiful place in a lovely setting h . The quality of food was excellent, the bakewell slice the best I have ever had. Coffee really good too and the staff lovely.

Best cafe, Best Tea, Best Coffee, Best cakes, Best Pasties......but above all, the Best lovely owners and staff.....great decor, gifts, the Best eggs for sale...just go there and see for yourself you won't be disappointed (though sometimes they run out of Pasties, then you might be!) Visit several times a month as its just sooo lovely there, we do.

We didn't actually eat here. But it's small and cosy, the food looked wholesome. We bought cakes here to takeaway which were quite expensive but delicious. There's a very small shop next door selling crafts and with chairs and tables for kids to do activities (I think?). It overlooks Slapton Nature Reserve with steps up. Quite dark inside.

We loved this cafe. Very friendly people and good food. We enjoyed sitting inside looking out of the open doors. Outside seating by the road as this cafe in not on the seaward side of Torcross. Very clean toilet facilities. On site old fashioned sweet shop and a gift selection. Big car park with WC next to the WW2 tank recovered from the sea, only a few minutes flat walk away. Visit if you are in the area you won’t be disappointed!

A lovely little cafe, with gorgeous homemade cakes…incorporated with souvenirs and old fashioned sweet shop! Decorated in keeping with the history of slapton sands. Definitely recommend a visit!

I found this place so expensive I literally had a few things and it came up to so much. It's because there isn't much around that they can do it but I still don't think it's right.

The most delicious egg and bacon bap for breakfast both Saturday and Sunday morning. The staff were very friendly and we loved the atmosphere too. Thank you ladies ?

Loved this cafe. Although it's been there for about three years, and it's a place that I visit frequently, this is the first time that I was aware of its existence. The entrance is not on the sea front but almost opposite the Sherman tank facing Slapton Ley. Very friendly and accommodating staff and very good, very reasonably priced food. There was a considerable choice of foods, from the mashed avocado and soda bread type to good old fashioned English brekkie, a really good choice and much cheaper than the nearby Blackpool Sands. The bacon baps were a real treat and very reasonably priced. Loved this cafe and it was all the more pleasant because of the lovely staff. All four of us really appreciated it and will certainly pop in next time I'm at Torcross.

Lovely little cafe. The proprietor opened up 30 minutes early to accommodate me and a few cycling pals. The cafe has a D Day/WWII theme which is tastefully done. Comfy chairs, good coffee and food selection.

A lovely little cafe with very friendly staff, a delightful place to eat. The decor is based around WW2 in homage to the history of Slapton Sands, which was used by American troops training in the run up to D day. The food is very good. You can have your grilled halloumi with sunblush toms and avocado toast but they also do a bloody brilliant bacon bap. All in all a real gem and very, very reasonably priced. I certainly intend to go again next time I'm at Torcross. Very highly recommended (by me!).

A very warm welcome and a welcome break from a very dismal and wet Saturday afternoon. Lovely ambience and super-cheerful service. Tea and coffee were great - but the cakes (all made on the premises) - wow!! Mind you our rolls/sandwich were excellent too. Many thanks to you all for a very pleasant interlude, and we will definitely be back.
