Seems new, clean and pleasant atmosphere. The crew is warm, friendly and attentive to families dining with young children ??Food was great, we had the usual suspects “Paleek Paneer” and “Butter Chicken”(although could still be a tint of spiciness for children); Tandoori King Prawns as well and they all taste amazing! We also had Basmati Rice, Plain & Garlic Naan to go with and our little ones LOVED them all ??Highly recommend to anyone who lives nearby or like us - travelling around Bournemouth Pier and Hengistbury Head Beach ??Stop by and support local business!Free street parking within the Neighbourhood n on the street opposite ??

After enjoying the bouremouth beaches in the morning made us really tired and hungry. In search for some good indian we found loads of restaurants and most of them had good ratings. After an hour long discussion we finally decided to be at 29 spices as it was most rated among. Four of us head down to this, pretty amazed with the ambience, quiet vibrant it was, after struggling on what to order (as they have loads which you really want to dig in) we ordered a non veg platter, chicken masala, aaloo chaat, dal tadka, aallo jeera, stuffed loo naan. You can really judge the restaurant if they make simple things like dal delicious and trust me their dal tadka and naan was the best across UK i have had so far, interestingly all these just cost us 85 for four people which I think isn’t much expensive too. No wonder they have good rating in bournemouth and definitely recommend to people if they want some actual indian cuisine while their stay at Bournemouth.

Lovely, warm hospitality. Great food and portion size (I ordered the special Monday thali). Kudos to the manager for giving me a free sweet lassi drink, since he could not offer me a student discount on the thali (since it’s quite economical anyway). The service time could be improved, but they said that they make the food to order, so it takes time. Every item was quite warm and it gave a feeling of home. The gravies could be improved, but as a subcontinent restaurant outside of the subcontinent it makes a good attempt.

We had a banquet night meal on Wednesday. Food was very good, though the lamb starter was not very tender. The meat in the curries was fine.Only thing we found a bit disappointing was the noise levels as the whole restaurant is open plan. A few padded, movable partitions would have helped, I feel.Parking: You need to allow time to find parking. It is often possible to park about 5 minutes walk away in iddesleigh Road.

We had the Punjabi Aubergine and Chicken Korma and they were dreadful. Both curries had the sauce as a blended paste and the punjabi aubergine had only a few small pieces of aubergine. Korma had loads of sugar in it. Samosa and samosa chaat was okay. Naan was good.

After a long time feel like Bangladeshi tea. Really enjoyed the singara and tea.
Went for a meal with a very large group. The staff catered for us amazingly well and most importantly the food was delicious. Looking forward to returning again.
