Shared the mixed grill, all looked well until we turned over the meat and it was burned black. Shame as we love these guys and normally lovely food. Place was busy so we didn't complain to prevent any awkwardness.

Amazing food in this small gem of a restaurant. All home made (even the sourdough) and very fresh. Highly

Whilst vising the restaurant I had an opportunity to taste their prize winning Chilli dip. It was so delicious, the perfect amount of heat for my taste. It was so nice I obtained a jar! I will be going back for more. It knocks similar dips out of the park .. Congratulations to the lady chef !Vegetarian options: The baked aubergine was delicious I could easily had another portion... Its clear that the chef only uses the best, freshest ingredients to make it so tasty, and to leave wanting more. Bravo Baracca!

I've always been a regular customer at Baraca and every time the chef surprises me with her creativity in mixing and fermenting different chillis that creates the most stunning, flavouring dips. Her most famous chilli dip made it and won the taste award well done !!! Thank you for another amazing aubergine curry dip I’m sure next year you’ll win again.

I was on a family trip to Bournemouth and wanted to find a halal restaurant to book dinner for a big group. After looking at reviews online Baraca came up and it did not disappoint. The food was fresh, tasty and the staff so friendly and accommodating. We had the mixed grill and a collection of starters. Each item tasted homemade and was delicious. Would definitely recommend visiting if in the area.

Baraca Restaurant in Bournemouth left me speechless with its incredible dining experience. The grilled fish I had that evening was nothing short of perfection – fresh, flavorful, and expertly prepared. But what truly made the night memorable were the charming owners. The wife's culinary expertise was evident in every bite, while the husband's warm hospitality made me feel like a cherished guest. Their genuine passion for food and hospitality elevated the entire dining experience. Baraca is a must-visit gem in Bournemouth, where exceptional cuisine meets a heartfelt welcome!

Had a fantastic meal. Had the sharing platter had more food than we could eat. Definitely would recommend a visit.

We are first timers on holiday. Thank you for fabulous food. We hope to return on our next trip.?
Thank you so so much for catering for our special day. Not only did you cook the food but helped us organise how to dish out etc and it worked beautifully. We had nothing but excellent comments about the food. It was delicious as always! And the service you always provide is nothing but the best. Thank you so so much

I have been coming to this restaurant for over 15 years. The food is fantastic and lovingly cooked by the wife of the manager. She grows the herbs, microgreens, fruit and vegetables in the garden behind the restaurant and in her own larger garden, so they are fresh and full of vitamins. The portions are quite large and beautifully presented. The desserts with Turkish coffee are a dream. The service is excellent.Yes, Charminster Road has deteriorated over the years (I used to live nearby as a child and teenager) but there are still some gems. I tried a new Turkish restaurant across the road, but much prefer Baraca. The welcoming interior (lots of lanterns hanging from the ceiling) and, of course, the friendly service make it an exeptionally pleasant place to enjoy a meal.I'm looking forward to eating there again soon.

A wonderful restaurant with amazing and friendly staff. We chatted with the chef about the range of chilli sauces and how she was always perfecting new flavours. A delightful evening I’d recommend for couples wanting a lovely meal out.

Simply the best Turkish in Bournemouth! Delicious home cooked food, we just keep coming back for more, for all celebrations bringing all our friends, as we can rely on it to always be excellent. The Chef uses her own home grown vegetables and herbs. The hosts are very hospitable and we are never disappointed. Very tasty and excellent value. Many thanks Baracas for a lovely birthday celebration and the lovely birthday surprise!Vegetarian options: Plenty of tasty home cooked options and fish dishes.Kid-friendliness: Large ice cream desserts the kids will loveWheelchair accessibility: There is a disabled toilet the corridor seems narrow, but front access is fine for wheelchairs.Dietary restrictions: Plenty of choices
