Sat in sheltered outdoor booths with heat lamps, very comfortable, pleasant vibrant atmosphere without being too loud/busyFood was cooked fresh so took a little while to come out but was well worth the wait. Tofu satay skewers and pad thai were great veggie options. Highly recommend

Quiet atmosphere. Good place to dine in with family. I have tried special friend rice with prawns and chicken. Nice taste and texture of fried rice. Prawns are cooked in optimal condition. I would go there again.Parking: Paid parking space is nearby but a bit crowded as it's in city centre.

With prices on the higher end and the first sight being a Caucasian serving food (we were not sure whether the place could be authentic), we were initially reluctant to visit but were delighted to experience a highly authentic food pallet, served fast, by highly professional staff. Looks can be right deceiving. Yay!The food, a selection of spicy beef, Yum Yum soup, and some spicy jungle special blew us away!Our visit was this memorable and positive that we have decided to visit more often, now! If the establishment will have us, of course.

Great Thai, with an extensive menu and lots of options for gluten free as well. It's not the cheapest, but I think it's worth the money. The atmosphere is good, and the service was quick. Love the little booths and music was decent too. Good date venue too.

A favourite of mine. The staff are always super friendly and accommodating. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. Never had to wait too long. I love the atmosphere (especially the outside seating).

I went to Kala Thai with 8 other group friends. The food was exceptional, the tempura prawn starter was huge and would have made some people a big meal I’m sure, make sure you’re hungry. For mains, I’ve never tasted better Thai green curry, I wish there was more of that! I had mine with Jasmine rice and sneaked some Pad Thai from a friend too - amazing! I finished with a banana dessert in sweet coconut milk, nothing I’d ever tried before but will definitely be having again. The service was A1 fantastic too, they were all so friendly and had time to talk us through items on the menu during and after the meal. I won’t hesitate to go there again. I’ll be back soon, thank you Kala Thai and staff x

My husband took me here on a weekend away, as he had visited in the past with friends. I am glad he did the food was out of this world, honestly the best Thai i have tasted in ny life, everything was nice and hot freshly made and my taste buds were exploding. I had the Thai green curry and it was delicious really creamy and the taste was just beautiful! Lovely portions chicken was tender and perfect rice was light fluffy my husbands pad Thai was incredible I seriously recommend u going here it was a brilliant experience I wanna go bk!!
