Absolutely brilliant, it’s January so it wasn’t overly busy however… The staff were amazing, the passion and knowledge of our server was second to none. Making a great experience exceptional. I know my wine but these guys live and breathe the stuff. Even though quite ish the atmosphere is exactly what’s needed for an intimate date night, although as a group they have the space. The food was of the highest quality with unexpected extras, always nice. I can’t wait to return.

This place is really special - you have a selection of many unique cheeses and meats, allowing you to create your own charcuterie experience. The staff were so knowledgeable about the cheeses and the meats, especially accommodating with the latter given one of the party didn't eat pork. When it came to wine selection, we also got a detailed explanation of the options and opted for one of each of white and red wine tastings - this is such an excellent offering, tiered for different price ranges, and allowed us to truly enjoy the best of the bunch! The place feels so private yet busy with people and communal - a truly memorable destination and an unforgettable experience.

I came a week or two ago as part of a work social so we were a big group! There were about 30 of us and we were catered for perfectly. It's always a bit tricky organising large groups, but the staff at Renoufs were flawless. They were attentive and very knowledgeable! They had reserved us tables all next to each other so we could socialise. They had good recommendations and even packed up our left overs so nothing was wasted! We found it to be very good value for money as we split 3 supreme boards, 2 party boards and a vegan board between us and it worked out well. We did pay for individual drinks separately ehich made the bill much easier at the end! We can't wait to come back! I have been a few times, as a couple, with friends and now as part of a big group and Renoufs has never failed to impress me! A must if you love cheese and wine!

Well where do I start. The staff are lovely and very knowledgeable. It was our birthdays treat from daughter and son-in-law. The cheeses and meats amazing. They have a wine flights where you buy 3 small glasses of different wines so you can taste the different ones, very tasty good idea. They are very knowledgeable about the drinks. Our waiter, with dark hair and glasses really knew his products and was enthusiastic about them. Offered good advice. It was mine and my husbands first time there, we will be going back. Our daughter and son-in-law go to renoufs a lot. The only thing I would suggest is if you don’t like those high chairs that you seem to see a lot in trendy bars, very nice for youngsters. But I find perched on them for a length of time uncomfortable. So book a low table if that is the case.

Amazing service! This is my second review because having been 4 times I have never been failed to be impressed & last night was no exception. The Manager and the wait staff are outstanding and they really care about your experience. The food & wine is exquisite and prepared beautifully however that is only surpassed by the 5* service you get from every employee in the venue ?

This was not just a drink it was an experience. The flights of wine are very reasonably priced, the staff are very knowledgeable and friendly and the atmosphere is amazing. I am not a big drinker but enjoyed sampling the wine here!We ate before coming here so sadly didn't try the cheese but if I'm back any time soon I will go back.

First visit to Renoufs Southbourne and we both really enjoyed the experience. James looked after us very well all night, and clearly knows his products well. We especially liked the wine ‘flights’ enabling us to experiment with different types. We ended up choosing the ‘Pete’s Pure’ Pinot noir which was delicious and surprisingly the least expensive of our options! Loved the cheese platter and the flexibility around personal tastes. We realised afterwards that we hadn’t included a Camembert in our cheese choices, so will definitely have to come back soon….

Wonderful evening!Thank you to the team at Renoufs Southbourne. We had a lovely evening with some fantastic cheese and wine! We ordered the £39.95 sharing board which came with a choice of 3 meats and 3 cheeses, pate, bread and pickles. We added a baked camembert, hot chorizo and one extra cheese. Probably a mistake on our part as we had to leave some as there was so much!The cheeses were lovely, in particular the Red Devil chilli cheese was gorgeous. The meats were great, especially the venison salami.Special shout out to James, the manager and sommelier, who suggested the orange wine, Martin Codax. It was really quite special. Thank you!We should also mention Imogen, who took our order and was very polite, professional and friendly. We ordered gluten free bread, but we didn't make it clear it was for the both of us (our fault), so when 2 baskets came out, one gluten and one gluten free, they changed the gluten one without quibble.Lovely ambience, fantastic staff and some of the nicest cheeses we have had. Also, very reasonably priced.Thanks guys, and see you again soon!
