Waitress was friendly. I asked for no ice in my drink. It came with ice. No big deal but not listened to. Ordered a second pint of lager didn't come without a reminder. Was told we were early by manager , when in fact we were bang on time. When I booked online I asked for a quiet table, when we arrived it was clear that message was only just read, which is pointless asking anything in advance online.. our table though was fine. No complaints just an observation.Food was OK although the green beans were inedible. We all left them. . We had roast pork but you d run out of parsnips shame,All in all I thought the food was average, not what I had been recommended.

Extremely good food. Belly pork with all the roast accompaniments. Very good portion. Service was great and timely. Honey pot dessert was different and had many flavours and textures.

Upmarket gastropub with a good wide ranging menu, nice atmosphere and attentive service. The signature burder was particularly impressive. But Ribeye steak & Skewers were also very good. Good selection of dessert choices

Went for breakfast with a wheelchair user and a dog, very accommodating and attentive staff, the food was amazing, in short, one of the best breakfast experiences we've had, we will definitely be back!

Having seen the pub in the day, I knew there was a separate restaurant and bar area. The plan was for me and husband to enjoy quality time, we thought we'd come for some good food and spend the evening relaxing in the bar area with drinks. The lady who greeted us told us our table was booked at 7:30 and we said we had enough time. In hindset I wish we'd said we didn't want to be rushed. The food was good. But we were rushed through. In the end, a waitreess approached us at 7pm to ask if we could pay as the next people had already had 2 rounds at the bar, which I found very rude and our night ended abruptly. (We were initially told the table was booked at 7:30). A shame this ruined the entire evening for us and we went straight home feeling really disappointed. For these reasons, i dont think we'll go back unfortunately.
A lovely little gem of a place, Beautiful, pub inside with open fires the Quality of the food and staff where

Service was fantastic and food was great - roast potatoes weren't as crispy as we would've liked but other than that portion size was plentiful and food was really tasty. Will definitely return and would highly recommend.

We went for a delayed Xmas work night out as Dec was to busy. Emily was our waitress for the night and what a fantastic job she did. Enjoyed all the banter we had with her and our party of 12 cafe ladies. Food was fantastic thank you chiefs and Emily sorted our bill out smoothly and efficiently preventing any end of night complications- a truly 100% night out

Fabulous evening. Helpful, friendly staff (particularly Emily) who had a great sense of humour. Emily kept us well informed, asked about allergies, sorted our bill out for all individuals on our table and was a great hostess. I had mains and dessert - both of good quality and tasty. Well done chef! Thank you.
