I had a smile on my face throughout my whole meal - that’s how good the food and service is. I’ve eaten at Uncle Glenn’s numerous times, trying more or less the whole menu. Last summer I moved to Bristol and have tried numerous Caribbean restaurants and none are even close to Uncle Glenn’s. I was on my way back to Bournemouth to meet some friends and put Uncle Glenn’s in the sat nav first ?.Food is 10/10Service is 10/10Everything is 10/10.Thank you guys!Vegetarian options: They do a vegan plantain + chickpea curry with rice and peas which is unreal!!

Probably the worst takeaway I've ever eaten. No meat on the chicken. The Coleslaw tasted like cleaning fluid. It ended up in the bin. I will never order from there again.

I was looking for some authentic carribean food and found Uncle Glenn's carribean. I was greeted with a friendly welcome by a very friendly gentleman who gave me a list of foods that they do. The restaurant was clean, the atmosphere lively and homely. He said they will be starting breakfast soon which will be great as I love carribean food. The food I bought was 5* and I will recommend uncle Glen's to friends and family. If you want good authentic carribean food that is good value and very tasty go to uncle Glenn's you won't be disappointed. Hope this business is blessed with success ??????????????????

I popped in for a quick lunch to go and I was pleasantly greeted and welcomed.The lady who served me gave me time to choose what I'd like and explained what some of the dishes on the menu were.There was a real vibe of Carribbean soul and passion for the food they create.I ordered a Mac n' cheese which was rich, creamy, perfectly seasoned and had a lovely crumbed cheese topping, very impressed.I also ordered a patty as a side which was lightly spiced with authentic seasoning, the pastry was thin and delicious.I was also given a free Carribbean inspired sponge cake made from plantain,which was perfectly cooked, wasn't stodgy and had those lovely Carribbean spices in.I have to say I will be coming back, I am pleasantly surprised by this absolute hidden gem.Thanks guys, see you soon!
