Incredibly rude staff. Went in whilst on an anniversary trip with my girlfriend and we were met with a somewhat aggressive woman at the counter. When we decided not to buy anything after how she was acting she seemed even more angered and muttering to herself. We then left and decided we would go somewhere else for our food. 100% skip this if you're in the area. We went to the place on the other side of the bridge. After looking through the reviews it seems like others have been having problems with the staff being rude and I assume it's the same lady. I hope things get better for her.

Bit of fossil hunting in the morning followed by a snack lunch here. Great to sit on the benches outside and watch the world go by. Even in the showers ! Whitebait was amazing -some of the best we’ve had. Good sized little fish & v tasty. Fries were good even in rain ! Son loved his cheeseburger. Seagulls made sport of will they pick up the errant chips. A 5 year old nearly beat them to it !

Cute tiny coffee shop right on the beach. Prices are what you would expect in a location like this one, the coffee is good enough. Will come back for sure!

Came here to get chips, but they stopped serving hot food despite all of the signs advertising it. No signs to say they stop serving hot food at a specific time!

I came here on my holiday with my family, and I cannot stress how brilliant this café was! Not only was the food absolutely delicious, but the staff were more than lovely despite being run off their feet with customers (they were doing a brilliant job!) and they had a wide range of food for everyone, and were even able to cater for my son's allergies. I cannot recommend enough!

Oh my goodness. Pure Shock. BEAUTIFUL! The staff were so lovely. They were speedy with their service, Nice to me, Carol and Kenzie really went above and beyond. They served me and were very kind to me about making a few changes to my order. Overall, Beautiful location, Beautiful Place, What more could you want?

Didn't get a chance to taste anything as they didn't have any allergy information. They should be able to tell their customers what major allergens they use, but they couldn't tell us their ingredients which is not legal. Avoid if you have allergies
Perfectly located on the beach, this was our 2nd holiday to Charmouth and have had food from the Soft rock cafe several times. The food is always fresh and good value, waiting time is nothing out of the ordinary for freshly cooked food and it's no bother to sit and wait looking out at sea. Staff always polite and friendly.

Lovely cafe and bar. Sit and enjoy a tipple whilst gazing across the sandy beach and the glittering turquoise atlantic ocean. Relax seated at one of the coloured picnic benches. Exquisite.

Visited with my partner after a long costal walk expecting something decent. What we both got was overpriced, over cooked, greasy and of poor quality. We are now at home with belly ache regretting our choice. We will never eat here again.
