“Had a lovely meal served by a very pleasant young lady. The atmosphere was warm and friendly too. We used a discount code which was for 33% off food, we found on Facebook. The staff asked me on arrival if we had any discount codes, which was helpful and saved us explaining at the table. I will definitely be returning.Parking: Disabled customer parking was very close to the entrance.Wheelchair accessibility: My husband uses a power chair and needs space to move around. We did mention this when I booked, and a very suitable table was reserved for us.”

“We were told by a neighbour to try the Owls nest last January (2023) and we have been coming for Sunday lunch ever since( apart from twice for family reasons) we have a little dachshund who is very well behaved and it’s such a pleasure to be able to take her with us. The food is second to none, I would have a job to compete with the chef and I class myself as a very confident chef of good old fashioned food. This place is a gem, warm and friendly owner and staff.
