Just purchased fish and chips at 5pm opening time Was very disappointed that the chips were reheated from the afternoon service,being in the catering trade I know what I’m talking about. Very disappointed as I am a regular and the shop is always very busy no need to reheat chips ??

We had 2x battered sausage & chips and a pea fritter & chips from the lunch time special menu, great value for money, hot and delicious. The young lady serving was helpful, chatty and smiled, it makes such a difference, when your welcomed with a smile.Parking: Plenty of parking spaces .

Great fish & chips, onion rings, milkshakes & all.The staff are friendly and helpful. The place has a regular who is in her 90s. They helped her outside to find her son’s car and escorted her to it. It was super nice to see.I’ll definitely be back here.

First time we've been here. I was acknowledged by staff on entering the shop despite them all being busy. Only ordered a large portion of chips, there were plenty for 3 people and quality was the BEST for several miles. Chips were fresh, full of potato and delicious. The shop looked clean and next time we'll order more than a bag of chips. ?Parking: Loads of parking!

To say in disappointed would be an understatement…First of all, we weren’t asked if we wanted salt and vinegar on our chips. They just assumed and put everything on there. I had to go back and buy a new portion for myself because the chips were drenched in vinegar which I don’t eat.Then we checked our burgers just to see there was no lettuce. I came back in to ask about it and was told they didn’t have any. There was no information about this, we weren’t told this and what’s more the girl who served us asked if I wanted lettuce on my burger…The actual food itself is mediocre at best, the beef burger was dry, the chips soggy and tasteless and I think I’d rather eat a shoe than eat the chicken burger again…
