“1st time visit, a week day evening, it was quiet but the staff and customers were welcoming, the pool table is in excellent condition, food was delicious (I had seconds!) Not a huge selection of drinks but had what I wanted so no problem for us. Ended up staying til closing time with the jukebox playing a wide variety of music. Would definitely visit again.”

“We were told by a neighbour to try the Owls nest last January (2023) and we have been coming for Sunday lunch ever since( apart from twice for family reasons) we have a little dachshund who is very well behaved and it’s such a pleasure to be able to take her with us. The food is second to none, I would have a job to compete with the chef and I class myself as a very confident chef of good old fashioned food. This place is a gem, warm and friendly owner and staff. It is a real treat and an absolute pleasure to visit this pub.Vegetarian options: Not a vegetarian.Parking: Normally plenty of space on the side, round the back and at the front.Kid-friendliness: Plenty of children visit here.Wheelchair accessibility: Have been with a friend who is disabled.”
