I've driven past this place so many times and it's always busy. We went in for a drink there once and wanted to go for a meal. We finally went with friends last night and it didn't disappoint. The food is home cooked, good portions and delicious. The girls who served us were great and it was very Christmassy so a wonderful atmosphere.My only criticism is that our table was near the door and the front door is held open (?) so the freezing cold wind comes in through the inner doors and made it unpleasantly cold. I'd ask for a different table next time but we'll definitely be going back.
Lovely little pub, great atmosphere and lovely staff. The home made pies are very good value for money and you will not be disappointed , plenty of other meals to choice from. dietary requirements catered for.

Just been for Sunday lunch, not an overly extensive menu but all meals were superb. The moment you walk in you are greeted with a friendly welcome. All staff were friendly and seemed to be enjoying being at work. Many thanks
