Service was great. Food and lovely. Atmosphere was lovely. You did not feel cramped or there where not a lot of people around you. Although it was quite busy.Parking: Lots of parking

Lovely pub with tables in little nooks and crannies which makes it really cozy. We stopped for lunch today with our dog. Friendly staff, very good burgers and a lovely atmosphere so we’ll definitely recommend and return ?

There was a quiz going on whilst we were eating which made it difficult to talk one group at a table told us to shut up, maybe the dining room should be left for diners onlyParking: Lots of parking spaces

Food was dreadfulWe came for a roast. Beef was not cooked... I'm not talking your normal pink beef it was raw and cold. Pigs in blankets also raw, also tasted off. Roast potatoes were from a frozen pack and powdery. Not enough gravy. Drinks are pretty expensive. And the children's food was not the standard I would expect. All frozen. Even the sausages which boasted on the main menu were local / fresh they were cheap catering sausages. Atmosphere was ok. Staff were OK.... not particularly friendly but put that down to the business od Sunday late lunch

On arrival I commented, not complained , that the seating was very dirty. And I do take into consideration that they had just had tradesmen in. But no attempt was made to clean them up in the 2 hours we were there. As we entered through the front door there was a smell of damp or must. Quite unpleasant. We asked for a menu, as no attempt was made to make us feel welcome. 5 of us.£90 not well spent , last visit for us . Its a meeting place as we come from different areas. Very poor, very sad. Need to get thier act together.
