Came here as a spur of the moment decision, as me and my group of friends had not been for a while. What a terrible decision. “Death by Sign” comes to mind when you walk in and are greeted with a collage of different signs, none postive. Firstly, cash only (surprise surprise). Secondly, the Show cooking section is not on, thirdly, the ice cream machine is out of order. Of course this does not mean you are going to pay less despite half of it being off. £21 as usual. We thought, well we are here now so why not. Bad choice. The hostess led us over to a table at the side of the restaurant which smelt, to be polite, of Stale urine. We then went to get our food, one of the chicken nuggets on my friends plate was raw, you could scrape of the batter. Squid was absolutely tasteless, the “crispy” duck was like granules, and the curries were so salty they were inedible. Seriously only tasted of salt. As did the rice, and even the mint chutney. Absolutely vile. Feeling defeated by the mains that were so bad that we actually sat there laughing about it, i decided to go for desert. Granted, the waffle was tasty. The rest of the dessert options consisted of some manky tinned fruit, and then a selection of off brand haribos. Seriously, haribos on a desert section? Do me a favour. Went over to the chocolate fountain, only one side of it was working. No fresh fruit to put under it. Just tiny marshmallows. It was incredibly hot inside. I would have cooled off with some ice cream, if there was any. The worst dining experience of my life, i will never ever be returning. Seriously disappointing. Don’t waste your time or money.

I went to days with my friends and was horribly surprised by the amount of moldy nuggets and the amount of poo in my curry made me vomit

I recently had the misfortune of dining at Days Restaurant, and I must say, my experience left much to be desired. From the moment I entered, it was clear that this establishment was far from impressive.First and foremost, the food was absolutely foul. The flavors were bland, and it seemed as though no effort was put into the preparation or presentation. I found myself struggling to finish my meal, wishing I had chosen to eat elsewhere. It was a disappointing and unappetizing experience overall.Adding to my disappointment, the staff at Days Restaurant were far from helpful. They lacked basic professionalism and seemed disinterested in providing quality customer service. Ignoring my requests for assistance, their indifference was off-putting. It certainly left a sour taste in my mouth and further contributed to my negative perception of this establishment. To make matters worse, the card machine at Days Restaurant had apparently been out of order for days. This is completely unacceptable in this day and age, where electronic payment options are essential for customer convenience. It inconvenienced me greatly, as I had to scramble to find alternative means to pay for my meal. Such negligence reflects poorly on the management and raises questions about their commitment to customer satisfaction.Lastly, the state of the furniture at Days Restaurant was shockingly shabby. The chairs were visibly worn-out and held together by patches of duct tape. It was not only unappealing but also raised concerns about the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the restaurant. One cannot enjoy a meal in such an environment, as it detracts from the dining experience altogether. In conclusion, my visit to Days Restaurant was an unfortunate and disappointing one. The foul food, unhelpful staff, malfunctioning card machine, and dilapidated furniture all contributed to an overall unsatisfactory experience. I cannot in good faith recommend this restaurant to anyone in search of a pleasant dining outing. There are far better options available that offer superior quality and service.

Totally lost their way! Arrived 8:30pm 29/8/23 they seemed happy enough to take my money, which is cash only now by the way, ( I should have seen alarm bells?) was told on arrival that they stopped serving at 9:30pm so you'd think plenty of time, it made sense as both the website and sign on the door said open until 10pm although by the time you head to the bar and are seated it was 8:40pm and I noticed anything they cooked fresh wasn't being done, maybe a dozen bits of sushi on offer, no prawns, pizza, roast meat, no pancakes or waffles then the soup went in at 8:45pm and choc fountain and ice cream machine turned off and clean up before 9pm. Then Low and Behold the same Chinese woman that took our money appeared at our table seemingly angry now, shouting something like they locked the doors and go home at 9:30pm, which is most definitely not what was said on the way in, it was basically time to go! Really, I've been going here years since the Georgie Porgie days, which was the previous owners, the last couple of times I thought the food was going down hill, but this visit took the biscuit, quite literally and all the rest of the food they used to have only leaving a few curries and cold fried food. This should have been a Birthday Celebration but instead I think it was Day's Wake/Funeral. I raised my concern with Angry Chinese lady to be told come back tomorrow and speak to management if I'm not happy :( So food, including lack of, bad attitude, cash only I'd now rate this place as low as I possibly could. If you're thinking of an all you can eat in the area go a little further and head to COSMOS there're in both Poole, Bournemouth & Southampton , I've never had a bad experience with them and food and service must be at lest 10 times better, I'll not be returning.

Went years ago and didn’t enjoy it. Thought I’ll give it another go for a friends late birthday meal. I’m sorry but I won’t be returning. Good selection of food, but it all doesn’t taste right. Some cold and some hot. Dessert cakes where stale, jelly taste weird, ice cream taste like the machine hasn’t been cleaned in months. Just not a great experience. Rude staff, very miserable. Such a shame. Inside is amazing really well decorated just the food is over priced and not nice. Sorry! Days I will not be returning.

Food selection is not great compared to the price you pay. Customer service is out of the window, Food was cold , my 10 year old child was made to pay adult price despite her measuring less than 150cm , their policy states you have to be above this height to pay full price. They demanded cash payments and I had to run around looking for a cash machine. Who moves around with cash this century

Would not recommend, food was cold, chips were soggy, clearly food left over from the night before. Dodgy stomach ever since leaving! Never again!!!

For an all you can eat restaurant, the food is fine. It is a bit of a bums rush, and a lot of patience is required during busy periods. The staff kept the items topped up well. If you are hungry and want to eat a lot, then I'd recommend it. If you are after something a bit more refined, then this isn't the place to go.

Visited Days as no where else to have food before we went to see Barbie! Cash only so of course they had spaces! Good food but tepid temperature so not a great experience!! It’s the cash only makes me think this company is in big trouble, you can only blame the card machine for so long!!

Food was average, my main issue was the lady that was working around the mains counter who on two occasions wiped the sweat off her brow without gloves on, then proceeded to stir food in dishes and the picked up some spillage of noodles at side of tray and put them back in dish with the same hand she wiped her brow with. She then proceeded to wipe down counter with a cloth and used the same cloth to flick some food back into another dish this was absolutely shocking to see especially when she was not wearing any gloves although all other members of staff were. Will not be returning again ?

Overpriced!!!I found better AYCE restaurants for maximum £20 but here it's £21.99. First time dining here but quite likely the last one. There are quite a few flashing lights so if you can't tolerate them you would consider not having any time here. When we arrived there was a sign saying no card only cash payment.Unfortunately we got seats pretty close to the "kitchen". The smell and noise that came from there was disturbing.I don't think it's really attractive and nice to get seats in the first "row" so close to the meals and the area they have been preparing. The meals. Here again I noticed that the meals with meat are so rich in choices whilst for vegetarians they can get the same as everywhere else in AYCE restaurants. Choices of fresh salads and green leaves are weak. There are labels help you to guide which includes egg, gluten, etc but you can't rely on them. One pasta was clearly vegetarian and I saw meat-pieces in it. Be careful if you have any allergies or diet. Check thoroughly before you take any.One positive thing is though that they do make waffles and pancakes as well and they didn't say I am not allowed more than one. Whatever toppings you want on them you can do - however there are only some sauces (chocolate, strawberry and 2 more) and cream.I started to take some pictures for this review and probably the manager stopped me from taking more. He did in a polite manner but I don't get what's wrong with taking pictures of the meals.Vegetarian options: Not too much. :( Only a few.Parking: Tesco's car park is free
