Dropped in for drinks and snacks after visiting the Grooves on the Green festival. Friendly reception from the young staff. We had a couple of drinks along with Loaded Nachos and some fries. Both were excellent. Well cooked (ie fully done and hot) and tasty in decent portion sizes. Would definitely recommend for cheap eats and nice beers in a clean environment.
Friendliest bar staff in the cross by a mile. They are just really welcoming and know what they're doing. The cocktails are delicious. Normally go for happy hour and nibbles but went for a roast recently and it was excellent. Outside space to people watch and lots of tables inside.Update June 2023- Thanks for my free drink! Had a French Martini, it was perfect as usual.

Loved the vibe at this pub. Went a tad bit early on a Saturday evening , so the place wasn't full. They have a good selection of beers.The place is pretty massive. They are pet friendly.Would love to go back there on a live music night .
