The food was amazing, Niall cooked my steak to perfection. Our server Jared was awesome so kind and great with kids.

After almost half a century of enjoying Christmas Dinner at home as family, we decided to ‘go out for Christmas’Booking the table and submitting the menu requests could not have been easier. On the day, we were greeted by the Manager, her Son and the gorgeous Annie who we have known for some time. What a warm welcome it was.The occasion, the service and the quality of food were EXCEPTIONAL ?❤️‘I wish it could be Christmas every day’ - we all know the song but honestly, after such a filling, delicious meal and wonderful company….it truly wish it was.100% all round. Thank You Harvester Alder Hills. Happy New Year

We came today for my mother in laws birthday and our server Sarah was absolutely outstanding, nothing was too much hassle and she was very smiley and happy the entire visit even though she was rushed off her feet. Thank you for making our visit enjoyable Sarah

Went with a group of friends including 3 3 year olds. Sarah the waitress was really friendly and made the whole thing enjoyable. Food was very tasty too.

I was very impressed with our waitress Annie, who had the job of serving our large group of year 6 boys for their annual Santa Breakfast. She was patient, helpful and friendly. A great breakfast and an enjoyable morning. Thank

Food was great. Service was super from a lovely young foreign girl with long hair. Welcome great at front door. Only disappointment was the bar on leaving the restaurant to get another glass of wine. Girl with no name tag totally ignored and chatted to other staff. When she did come over she was not at all friendly. Very disappointing. Hence the loss of a star. We came wed 19th December at 5.30 so in the bar around 7-7.30 after

We went here for a change to our usual Harvester due to distance. I have to say the food was terrible, not nice at all. I asked for well cooked bacon and got thin strips of bricks. The hash browns had no taste, the mushroom so greasy, no beans for one of our party and the juice was warm with no ice. We did get bought over more bacon, cold in a bowl and barely cooked ( can't get it right these chefs)Santa, sorry to say, was a sad state of affairs. Not a lot to say and £9.99 to only get a rubbish bag with paper in was a disappointment.Luckily our waiter was very friendly and apologetic. He felt really bad. I didn't catch his name but he was lovely and told us he was working all over the Xmas period and watching football on Boxing Day.Sadly, the restaurant was under staffed and the food was just not of good quality at all.But well done on your waiter who made up for it. Nearly £50 for food that was so bad was disheartening but I won't be visiting again.

Our server was called Sara. What a lovely lady, nothing was too much problem for her she was extremely attentive to our needs. The food was delicious. My only complaint was I had the Christmas dinner, but because I can't eat peas, I only had red cabbage because peas, white cabbage, and sprouts were all mixed togetherParking: Disabled parking immediately outside the doorsWheelchair accessibility: Small ramp down to restraunt then all flat level

We come every year in a big group for Breakfast with Santa. As always, the restaurant staff and especially our waitress Annie was brilliant. We had lots of children in our group and a big food order but all the food came out at the same time and hot. Everyone really enjoyed the breakfast and meeting Santa!

Food was good, nice salad selection. However, drink prices in the drinks menu were not what was charged! A bottle of Barefoot White Zinfandel was £16.50 on the menu, charged £17.50! Waitress said it must be an old menu. No offered to refund.

First or all our booking eequest was not looked at in advance, we turned up to be told our table will be made and to wait at the desk. We were taken to a booth area with no room for pushchair and no room for a Highchair (both of which were noted on the booking request) the manager then walked off without giving us a Highchair. We were then moved to another table and had to ask again for the Highchair.Service was extremely slow! We waited over 40 mi jtes for a bowl of kids fruit! Kept being told it will be here in a moment and then was told there is a backlog of desserts so it will be delayed.Food arrived cold! And poor quality.Didn't bother to complain because it was pointless and we just wanted to get out of there. Won't be returning.

8 gentlemen aged 21 - 58 out for a works Xmas meal, arrived early for a couple of drinks before eating, we all had the ultimate mixed grill & enjoyed it (not that any of us managed to eat it all☹️). By this time I had 4 drinks & others in the group had up to 6 beers, having finished our meal & settling the bill with tip we decided to have one for the road (now about 9pm) we were refused as apparently we were drunk & unruly ????Please if you intend going to Harvester, Alder Road for a fun meal out don't bother as they obviously don't like seeing people enjoying them selves or taking there money. If this is a regular accurance no wounder the place was so quiet.

Had the rib-eye steak and it’s cooked to my preference. Jared is a very good waiter too. Checking on us now and again for something else we might like. Polite and attentive ???Parking: More at the back of the restaurant if full at the front

Had to wait for 40mins, which can be acceptable on a busy day but when the food arrived it was lukewarm on top of limp lettuce, ate what we could as really hungry by this time. Really disappointed as last time we enjoyed a good meal with excellent service. Will think very hard before returning.

Enjoyed our family meal here and was impressed by the salad bar which gives a healthy boost to the meals. Service was good but I do think the staff were stretched to manage the whole restaurant. Eloise was very efficient.
