12 of us were here for a meal for a 50th. This was an already busy Friday night with lots of drinkers and eaters!We all had piping hot, well cooked and delicious meals. Every one of us.The staff were extremely polite, friendly and efficient. We really cannot find any reason to fault them.We had a vegetarian and a gluten free bod and they had plenty of variety for us.Great food, great service and a very good price. I would highly recommend The Red Lion.Dietary restrictions: Great range of food for those who were intolerant or vegetarian.

Sorry about the picture. I was so hungry I forgot to take a pre shot of my Katsu Curry. But believe me when I say it was really good quality food. 2 meals for only £11.99. Fantastic value & even better quality. Service with a smile & also checked that it was all good. Will definitely be going back before we go home. Also had puddings. They we're just as great.Parking: Lots of parking. It was only the getting in or out of the car park that was a little small.Kid-friendliness: Such a good environment during the days. Kids are very welcomed.

My daughter & I went here for the “build your own burger for £5 on Wednesdays”. Nice big car park at rear & a ramp but then quite a step up into door, not sure if they another entrance better for disabled access? Anyway with stick & daughter’s support I managed. I would say you get what you pay for regarding burger, choose 3 toppings; I had bacon, gherkins & cheese. Served with chips & 2 onion rings. It’s nothing to write home about but for £5 is a bargain! We had 2 mocktails £2.99 each which were very nice so £15 for dinner for two- very good value. I noticed seniors 60+ can get 2 dishes for £5.49, thats crazy cheap. It is a sports pub too so lots of TVs around but it didn’t interfere with our dinner. I would go back for a mid week lunch or a sports event but not for a special occasion or romantic date. Excellent value for money.

My family and I went to the red lion for Xmas day dinner I can't tell you how amazing it was service was great so friendly food was so good and all came out so hot and the plate had a good plate full and cooked to perfection and communication with jake the coordinator was great so helpful every body was so professional we are going again next year highly recommended

Pasta and brocoli undercooked, steak pie had a lot of nice meat but could have been cooked a bit longer as had a soggy bottom. Camenbear and gammon was nice.

Had our first visit a couple of weeks ago and we were both impressed with the quality of the food and the ambience. On that occassion we had the Breakfast brunch and it was very nice. Returned for the Sunday roast and we were not disappointed! Lovely food, terrific value for money, fabulous service. The bar staff and waiting staff are friendly, polite, and attentive. The new decor is warm and inviting, and defintely somewhere we will return to again and again.Parking: Parking behind the pub, easy to park and well lit.

Wow, Amazing meal. We had the Christmas 3 course meal. Between us we had chicken strips and prawn cocktail starter. Turkey roasts. Choc fudge cake,mint choc tart and fruit crumble. It was all absolutely delicious. The service was fantastic and the staff were amazing even though it was really busy. Would highly recommend and will definitely go back.
