Nice looking restaurant with friendly staff. The food was delicious and we were all impressed with what we had. The poutine with beef was especially yummy. The only thing which ruined it for us was that the music was really loud. We would understand if it was later in the evening but it was in the afternoon and it was preventing us from being able to comfortably talk to one another. We asked for it to be turned down which did happen, but then it was turned up again and even louder. We asked to move tables so the staff swapped us to the only available table but it was also close to the speakers. If it wasn't for the music drowning us out I would easily award 5 stars as everything else was great.

We had our Christmas staff party here and I have to say the food was amazing! We had a turkey dinner which was HUGE! Very generous portions, very tasty, very attentive staff and a great Christmas atmosphere. Whilst this is Christmas related, we have been regulars in the Duck for years and its always amazing. Nothing not to like about it so get yourself down there!

The food was lovely but the staff were amazing! So helpful from start to finish with speedy answering of questions and fantastic service on the evening of our event. I would recommend this place for the service alone!

This is genuinely by faaaaarrrr my favourite spot in the world for food with friends and fmaily. The staff are just wonderful, every single time, and the food and atmosphere is second to none.

Good atmosphere, service, good mocktails, good table booking system and the food was good. Despite being near Christmas, they didn't play Christmas music, so that was well received. The reason I am giving the place 4 stars instead of 5 is because there was only one vegan option. The vegan burger was good, but if I wasn't in the mood for that I didn't really have choice for anything else if I wanted hot food.

Disappointing compared to other visits. Took 15 minutes for menus to be brought over. Another 10-15 minutes for our drinks order to be taken and that is because we asked if we could order. No heating on (well it certainly felt as though it was not on). When food eventually arrived it was nice but not hotand consequently food was cold before we had a chance to eat it p (small plates). £6.00 for basket of frozen straw fries overpriced - skin on fries would have been better.
Visited with friends and a few little ones for my birthday lunch. As always we were well looked after by the fantastic staff, thank you to Lottie and sorry can’t remember your names. Really great and made the lunch really fun.

Every started well staff were polite and said sit where you like, they came over ,took our drinks order when they took our food order i had a duck burger my wife a salad with chicken, then we waited................. 45 mins later my burger arrived, we waited i then asked where my wifes salad was, the other waitress had left it on the server, food was nice not special, it was not busy
