The food was of a high quality, the service excellent. My one gripe is one I have with many establishments is that a meal should comprise the vegetables and that they should not be offered as a charged extra. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal at the Britannia and recommend it.

This a great place to have a meal of good quality and fresh ingredients. If you like sea food then it's perfect because of the freshness and quality. I've been with my partner a few times and we've never had a bad experience. The waiting staff could not do more for you either. Give it a try for sure.Dietary restrictions: They always ask for restrictions and allergies which is great.

Lovely restaurant, atmosphere and lovely staff but so disappointed with the food. The sausage and mash was overcooked, small, tasteless, overpriced and the food was cold. I hate to say it but I make a better sausage and mash at home and I’m not a great cook. A few of my friends had the fish and chips, fish looked lovely and was reasonably sized but you only get a handful of french fries... I’m not one to leave bad reviews but it was very disappointing and money not well spent. Saying that, the desserts looked good and they were massive!!

Food was a little disappointing, very small portion of prawn and crayfish cocktail, definitely not worth £9.50, barely a mouthful served in a very small ice cream bowl. Main meal was better. Soda water was charged at £3 a glass. Lrg glass of wine and a diet coke was £17.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu was value for money
