We went for the carvery on Mother's Day.Absolutely delicious roast, and not expensive, so worth it for the money.The staff were so lovely as well.I will be back, especially for more carvery.

Recently moved to Canford Heath and didn’t want to spend £20 for a small plate of a roast in the usual bars we go to. Decided to try The Pilot and wow! The fact the carvery is £12.95 AND that you can pick as much trimmings/sauce/potatoes as you want was one thing but the best part was how tender and moist the turkey was. I noticed the chef serving really cared about the hygiene and appearance of the area too. Definitely will be back again and even go for a takeaway!

I love this place. It's been my regular since moving to Candford heath. Very well priced food and drink. Lovely staff. Great atmosphere. A proper pub with family dinning if you want it. Or darts and pool table If that's your thing. Lisa and the crew do a great job.

Just had Sunday Lunch at The Fighter Pilot. Brilliant ? very tasty ? home cooked Sunday lunch !! We will definitely go back, couldn't fault it ? I believe they even do takeaway Sunday lunch which we will definitely give a go! Good value for money £12.95. Would recommend a try ?

Sadly this pub is closing early, no signs up, no food past 745pm closing at 9pm sometimes. I have been going for years as used to play squash there so it's a sad decline, and at this rate could soon be closed!
