All good, I hope you continue to have parsnips on the menu. The standard of the beef has improved and hopefully it won't slip back again. The same goes for the roasties, although still the worst I have seen in any toby they have improved slightly.

The service we received was very poor, the server didn’t seem to know the menu and we received the wrong drinks, then the wrong puddings, pigs in blankets never arrived and we were constantly waiting to get a server to come back with the correct items. We asked one waiter for help (Aaron) and he told us to wait for “our waitress” to come back. The server brought over our bill without us asking for it and then she didn’t know how to use the card machine. We didn’t receive any form of apology and there was a lot of staff stood chatting and not doing anything whilst there was dirty tables and toilets. The waitress/server we had didn’t have a name tag but it said “Chaynel” on the receipt.

Absolutely awful. Went in to be told I cannot use my 50 percent code and that I would have to pay full price on a takeaway. They guy was unhelpful and told me to do a click and collect and i would have to hang around 40 minutes for this. Has scanned my code and now it's invalid but still have no lunch. Appalling customer service.

The food was perfect, I'm sure you used to have a third option of gravy which was also very tasty, a third flavour of gravy would be nice thank you, however incredible as always :)

The staff are always so friendly and helpful. The food was perfect. We have never had a bad experience in this

Our table was in a very good position for a large group like ours, so we were out of the main thoroughfare and away from most tables. There was enough choice of main course to suit everyone, including 2 vegetarians and 3 children. We all wondered why the yorkshire puddings are made so enormous though, noone finished theirs and it seems such a waste as well as unnecessarily over the top. At least one of the children didn't even have one because he was daunted by the size. The choice of desserts was disappointing: no sticky toffee pudding, no honeycomb and no vegan options, which accounted for 4 of our party having to go for something different. Our waiter was very good humoured about it despite the children telling him he'd ruined their day!Dietary restrictions: No gluten free options reduces the main course choices for vegetarians as all the vegetarian options, except the meat free carvery, contain gluten.

Service was excellent nothing too much trouble. Carvery very tasty but was a bit cold. Kids meal was a bit funny asked for a chicken burger ended up with 3 chicken nuggets in a roll.

we arrived on a busy friday night without a booking, but lovely new manager Alexander separated a large table for us as a big party with a reserved table weren’t due to arrive for over an hour. food was lovely and service even better. normally this branch isn’t so well organised but looks like Alexander has worked wonders! we were reluctant to come back to Poole after last time as we paid for our food and went to get our meal and there were no yorkshires, 2 meats and half the veg left with 2 hours of service to go but glad we gave it another chance :)

Very good roast from the carvery buffet. 3 choices of meat & a large selection of vegetables, roast potatoes, mash & more. Excellent value at a very reasonable price indeed.

Worst service and management!Decided to go for a quick dinner but was greeted with dirty cutlery at the table, when we told the waiter he then proceeded to only change the fork but my napkin is contaminated so I would like new set. Went to get the food which was fine but after returning to the table our drinks was still no where to be seen. Have informed another boy waiter but his reply was “I don’t serve this area” okay? But you still work there. During the meal was okay. I believed they had change shift by then so I asked the boy waiter again if he could bring us the bill since he’s the only one around. He came back with the card machine but no receipt! I’d like to know what I’m paying for. He then disappeared. Having to wait another 15 mins we asked another waitress if she could find someone who could help us paying the bill because at this I’m on the edge of walking out. The girl came back and told us to go to the bar and pay? I booked a table in the restaurant area for a reason! We then asked for the manager (waited for another 10 mins). She looked lost and had no idea what she’s doing. She is not capable of managing anything. All she said was “sorry we’re busy” busy doing what? It’s not like you’re bring the food to the table, we do that ourselves. The only service that’s needed in this place is setting up tables, clearing them and take drinks order. I have worked in many restaurants (fine dining) and this made us felt like we were beggars. All we wanted was the bill. Like would you not want to turn tables as it’s a “busy” Sunday. Overall staff were inexperienced, young and don’t have a good leader!

Situated on a major roundabout with a large car park this is a very popular restaurant. Caters for families, vegetarians and meat eaters. Can be noisy and obviously busy. Service was excellent and the choice of food was good especially the vegetables. A long queue forms at the carvery. Overall a good place but try and avoid the obvious busy times. All on the ground floor and wheel chair accessable.

The best carvery that we have been into!! It was very busy and the ladies that were working there were rushed off their feet but still polite and very apologetic. The food was cooked perfectly with lovely crunchy roast potatoes, tasty veg and the beef was soft, not tough at all. We were so glad to find this wonderful eating place and recommend it to everyone. We went back for a second night and also for breakfast which was just as enjoyable. Thank you to all the lovely staff that made it so good.

Everything was lovely you were experiencing electrical kitchen problems but this didn't deter a very enjoyable festive lunch. Put waitress Claire was excellent keeping us informed if there was a delay. She was on a 12 hour shift but very cheerful bubbly and made us laugh an first rate team
