A bit of an INCONVINIENCE store - unreliable - definitely not a 24hrs service.

We regularly use this BP after visiting family in Dorset. It doesn’t matter what time of the day or evening it is, the staff are always polite, the toilets immaculately clean and the shelves well stocked. The same cannot be said of other chains in the area.

Good range of M&S food, and a convenient place to stop for a coffee, a bite to eat, and use the amazingly clean and well equipped toilets! Great customer service as well, what’s not to like?

Stopped here several times for a coffee and an M&S snack only to find a long queue and not enough staff on the tills. Have often walked out after a long fruitless wait. Another time I stood in a queue on the right hand side of the shop by the coffee machine and hot pastries for about 5 minutes while the staff member chatted to the person in front of me, only then to be told I had to order coffee from the till operators on the other side of the shop. I then had to join the back of another queue. There are no signs up anywhere saying this - queuing at the coffee place to buy a coffee would seem to be more logical than asking the guys selling petrol to leave their tills to get coffees from the other side of the building. Judging by the regular queues in there and the indifference of whoever is in charge to manage the situation, it's not working. Worth stopping for M&S food but avoid unless you are prepared for frustrating inefficiency and some less than courteous staff. Will update this review if I note any improvements.

The shop facilities are fine however there is a total lack of staff customer service skills , till staff on both occasions I visited were surly and abrupt - there is an obvious training need.
