“We are staying at a campsite down the road. Walked up for an early dinner. Obviously out of half term, a Monday and 4pm it was very quiet which is why I gave less for atmosphere.Jo who served us was great, attentive and very helpful.We had the burger and my wife had the leek cheese pie.All very good, piping hot and large portions. Finished off with a share of choc fudge cake.All in all a good meal, anyone staying on the local campsite its a 20min easy walk.Vegetarian options: Lots of choices for veggies,”

“Stayed here as part of a charity trip for carers who need a break. The room was great, the staff were lovely and the food excellent. As we were guests we also got 20% off our food bill which was a lovely surprise. Its in a great location very close to country parks if you want to spend a few hours walking through the forest and about 20 minutes drive to the beach. Was perfect for 2 exhausted parents who needed a relaxing break and would definitely recommend ⭐️”
