Food was very good quality, cooked well and served hot though a lack of waiting on service was disappointing. Drinks are a little expensive. The pub does need a spruce up, it was quiet though it was late afternoon and felt bare and soulless.Parking: Ample parking next to the pub though disabled spaces are limited in number

It wasn’t as good as last year and every year before. Food quality has gone down. I’ve been coming to this pub over the last 40 years. Such a shame. Was always a favourite and we kept coming back. Service was great. Just the food quality, smaller, cheaper and very rushed if not having the carvery. Will not be rushing back.

The hot drinks were lukewarm, the panini little filling, limited vegan options. The serving staff on the other hand were excellent, very helpful, courteous and quick to replace hot drink. The steak meals were good too.Vegetarian options: More gluten free options needed.Dietary restrictions: Vegan options limited although vegetarian options good

Haven’t eaten here in probably 8 years- was ok the last time but nothing memorable- cheap cheerful chain pub food.Made a last minute decision to try here as had popped in last summer for a drink and the staff were really friendly- love that I was able to book a table online for the same day- most places don’t let you- it was a very quick and easy process- plenty of time slots available.Upon arrival staff were, as usual, really friendly- great choice of drinks at the bar- the place was clean and tidy (chain pubs like this always fill me with a little dread that the tables will be sticky, covered in old dried ketchup and the menus stuck together and vile- none of that here! It was beautiful!)Great table- I request a corner / quiet area and again, despite a last minute booking they provided exactly that. It was perfect. There were a couple of dogs in the restaurant- again usually a no go from me- but all were well behaved- having walked out of several places recently because of yapping and barking dogs I was initially concerned - but had no reason to be.Now the important bit- the food!WowOnly ordered a couple of burgers- but, as a self confessed fussy foodie- your burgers are great! Both of us were really impressed - we had the ultimate beef and the ultimate chicken. Awesome.Great priced food- if I’d have paid twice that price for the burger I would still have been happy with it- it arrived quickly- again with a smile- it was hot- good size- over all- a really pleasant experience and glad I made the decision to give the pub a go- I will def be back.If I had to pick a negative- the only thing I’d mention is the beer is a tad on the high price- I paid £6.25 a pint for what usually averages around a fiver in my local- over £6 is a lot for a mass produced pint.A*************

We’ve popped in a few times for a drink but this is the first time we’ve had food. One thing that really stands out for us is the friendliness of the staff. Always greeted with a warm welcome and made to feel really comfortable. As for the food, well I think it’s safe to say we both thought it was one of the best burgers we’ve ever eaten. We will definitely be returning!
