Living in Wool we’ve used this takeaway a lot as there isn’t much else around. Overall only giving 4 stars as although the food is nice and we’ve never had a problem with the actual food there are a few issues we face every time we go here.1) Prices change ALL the time. Makes it very annoying when paying individually in a group as everything is always out 10p or so. Small differences I know but it’s just something to bear in mind if what you calculate the price as doesn’t match what they say.2) Be prepared to wait longer than they say. Every time I have gone to collect the food hasn’t been ready and I’ve been told it needs another 10-15 minutes. This might not be true but I don’t think they start cooking until you arrive to collect to reduce the amount of food wasted to those that don’t turn up.3) Check you have everything before leaving. The past 5 times we have been we have got home and realised there is something missing. It’s got to a point where it’s become an ongoing joke about who’s going to be the victim this time. I have gone back before and they have cooked the missing dish for us straight away but it shouldn’t be that it happens as often as it does, you should be able to trust that what you’ve ordered is what you get.As I’ve said already, we’ve been many times so these issues haven’t put us off as the food is good. We are just aware of them so know what to expect now every time. Some bonuses are that they are generous with a free dish (usually sweet and sour chicken) over a certain spend, free prawn crackers and free fortune cookies. The staff are also friendly enough.Final point to remember, they are cash only which I don’t think is an issue at all as they’re only a small business. There is a cash machine (with a charge) in the shop next door or just a few minutes down the road at Spar you can withdraw cash for free at the post office counter.Parking: Parking is behind the shop in the Central car park.

Very busy. One chef. Slowest takeaway I've experienced because it has a large catchment area. Very oily food, get some good toilet roll in.BEST RIBS IVE HAD gets it the decent review. Lot's of free parking.

Around this part of the country, we aren't surrounded by takeaways, so it's even harder to find a good one. Hong Kong Garden is our little gem. It's an open-plan kitchen so you can see the food being prepared. The service is good, but be prepared to wait a little while if its on a weekend, although they did give us free spring rolls to make up for it. I would recommend the food here It's very nice. The salt and chilli chips are the amazing.Parking: It's behind the take away

We were late organising food on NYE and after I called Hong Kong Garden 5 mins after they closed they were nice enough to still take our order for us! The food was also brilliant, very flavoursome and so much better than expected. We'll be returning soon.

It's a lovely Egg Fried Rice and Chicken Curry from here.If only they would get rid of that awful, off putting fish tank!(That tank is an absolute appetite killer!)

Not a bad takeaway. Have had a couple from here and will use again.

Poor Food and overpriced. Ordered at 7pm was informed it would be ready in 45 minutes, waited a Total of 1hr 15 mins for 4 meals and some Ribs, was starving when I got home, then nearly smashed my plate when the chips hit it they were that hard, every meal was overloaded with chilli apart from my special fried rice which just tasted of salt. Items were missing too! I'm not one to complain but I feel conned out of £55 ? on the upside we did get free Prawn Crackers!

There was no egg fried rice that we'd asked for. We received brown rice (a bit too dry). The chicken satay was a bit too salty, haven't tasted one like that anywhere before (had to dump it in the bin). Can't complain about most dishes, as the kids liked the rest of the food (especially the chow mein). The Thai red curry was orange, and the green curry was brown. The Szechuan chicken wasn't that spicy as I would've expected. The wait time is over 1 hour (90 mins to be exact). Thought it was just us, but reviewing the comments, it looks like the case pretty much for any order size. The only downside is that they're cash only, even for large orders. We had to scramble to withdraw £150 just to settle the bill.

We were on holiday in a nearby campsite, three families together. It was the only Chinese restaurant in the area. We were so hungry, especially the children. We went on time to order our takeaway dishes. But the surprise, you couldn't pay by card. In the long district, there was no ATM nearby. When one goes to the beach, try not to carry cash. Situazione molto dispiacevole.

Terrrriblleee service. Whatever time they tell you, add 40 mins on. Then if you question it, the staff are rude. Think they act this way as it’s the only Chinese in the village. But don’t bother wasting your money. Either drive to Wareham or get a chippy instead

A reasonably priced Chinese takeaway. The food is freshly cooked order by order so there can be a wait but I find it worth waiting for food. The menu is standard Chinese takeaway food but I think better cooked than most standard Chinese takeaways. The counter has a glass screen and you can see the food being cooked.

Much nicer than the other local Chinese
