“Went here for a meal early evening and although we hadn’t booked were welcomed. The menu was quite comprehensive and we both decided to have a starter and certainly didn’t have to wait too long to have it served. Both were delicious. It didn’t take too long for the main course to arrive and we both ordered the venison rump. We both asked for medium rare but thought it was nearer well done. I found it a bit chewy but my husband managed it better. The onion mash and vegetables were really nice. Neither of us could manage a dessert. The staff were very efficient and friendly and there was a good atmosphere, especially as more diners came in. Would recommend.”
