Bar • “We booked a table for 4 adults, 3 babies and one toddler and the team were so accommodating (given our slightly chaotic group of babies and friend reunion happenings). And so this review is mostly to say thank you to the team! And the food was delicious, there were baby changing facilities and lovely view of the harbour as always.”
Bar • “This was only our second visit here, and if we lived closer, we’d come once a month minimum, not once a year! The Sunday roast carvery was great value with fantastic quality food and the service was brilliant, such friendly staff, it didn’t matter we were ‘out of towners’ we were welcomed in and made to feel at home - plus it’s a dog friendly pub, our Westie loved all the meat off cuts passed his way It’s in a gem of a location and has lovely outside dining areas and great local ales - you won’t regret a visit here!”
Bar • “This place is on three shallow levels. Quite a large place. Descent selection of real ales. I went in on a Monday night, really packed. Beer was good at a great price. Enjoyed my visit.”

Great atmosphere inside, love the gallery sitting upstairs, nice view over looking the water if you sit by the window.New York Deli Style was delicious and generous portion. Tried the cold river cider as well which was very refreshing.Saw other people having a roast dinner which looked fantastic, the Yorkshire puddings looked huge.Service was very quick and staff were very attentive.Would definitely visit again.”
Bar • “Sort of a basement establishment. Descent sized room, Food being served. A few TV's around showing the football. Pool table in the adjoining room. Usual tap beers on. I had a Guinness which was ok. Staff were friendly. Good visit.”
Bar • “We attended on a weekday during term time and it was quite quiet. Loved the layout and the view out onto Bowleez Cove. Arcade nest door. Outdoor seating available. Had a delicious breakfast, table buzzers to alert you food is ready. Food was very tasty and hot. Prices i'd say are more middle of the range (not too expensive but definitely not cheap) but the price was justified for the quality of the food. Quirky decor ....old school/modern canteen. Very clean and fresh. Loved the tiki bar! .Staff very friendly. We also had an ice cream from the ice dream parlour next door. Very nice and affordable priced! Parking directly outside (pay and display)Vegetarian options: Veg sausage was tasty. Hash browns mushrooms eggs beans tomatoes and fried bread.”
Bar • “For £12 I thought it was good value. However a pint of Magners was 5.99. I'd never been here but luckily I was with someone who had been. As I felt a little lost but apparently we could go up whenever to get our food. Its a nice restaurant and I will be coming back again just wish their was a little more guidance from the staff.”
Bar • “We've been staying at the Rembrandt, and at first we were cautious about the restaurant, as both of us are vegetarians. The menu sounded tasty, so we decided to give it a try... And it was incredible.The vegetable&tofu skewers just melt in your mouth, the sauces are top notch.Thank you.”
Bar • “The best meal out we’ve had in a while! We eat out at least once a week and this is by far one of the nicest meals we’ve had. The Gyozas were lovely, onion rings were cooked to perfection, the burger was nice & the chips were amazing! Triple booked & extra crispy. The outdoor area is lovely too in the sun. It almost felt like we were abroad! We were initially booked to go here with 23 others on Saturday but had to cancel, so glad we still popped down on the Sunday as a couple. If we were to return to Weymouth, we’d be sure to come back!”
“There is nothing I can fault about this place. We have been coming as a couple regularly and tonight celebrated my husbands 40th birthday here. Nothing was too much trouble, the staff went out of their way to accommodate us and handled the large number in our party with ease. The food, as usual, was absolutely delicious and the staff attentive and friendly. You have to go here if you are in the area, you won’t regret it. Thank you to all of the staff, great food, great atmosphere, great night!”
