Local chippy.And the young lad gave me a good size portion.Which I respect him for.Have got a loyalty card .But because I was coming back from work,in the pouring rain ,didn't have on me.We make a point of buying two fish,and one portion of chips and splitting..I know both fryers personally,and wouldn't go elsewhere,because some use a cheaper oil..See pictures.

My partner and I had THE best fish and chips today! We couldn’t believe the portion size but fish, chips and peas were cooked to perfection! I personally have not eaten haddock quite like what I had to do! It was absolutely beautiful!Highly recommend Bennetts!Unfortunately we had our puppy with us so we couldn’t eat inside but we sat outside on a bench overlooking the harbour and it was still lovely!

Ordered online for a delivery at the weekend and given a forecast of 50 minutes, which was fine as it would be a busy time for all takeaways.A phone call a short time later apologizing that something was unavailable and some alternatives were offered.Our order arrived about 10 minutes early which was a nice surprise. The food was nice and hot and tasted great. One slight criticism would be that the batter was not as crispyr as I would like, but it was not very oily as some takeaways can be which meant I could eat nearly all the batter for a change. Very enjoyable, thanks Bennett's!
