Not a great lover of fish, but tonight was an amazing experience. From stepping in the front door to going out of the doors was wonderful. The crab was my favourite. Thank you for the anniversary card too. Keep up the good work.

Very creative seafood tasting menu. Was the main reason we had for visiting Weymouth and did not disappoint.

Stunning reviews and all that. Fish tasting menu the only option this lunchtime visit: fairly priced at £40 per head. Exiguous portions spread out over 2 hours. Lovely staff. Upper level of old fish market nicely restored. A bit chilly this March day.

We’ve been a few times over the years, and never left anything other than hugely satisfied.Tonight was our first back since the glowing review from Giles Coren. It was lovely to see the restaurant absolutely bustling with new diners, surely justification for what Mike and his team have created here in Weymouth. My only concern… could it be scaled up to accommodate the sudden influx, whilst maintaining the quality and consistency? Actually I may as well just answer that now… Yes!The evening’s taster menu was as gloriously delicious looking as always. And so it was no surprise that, along with their well-balanced wine flight, dish after dish (after dish) went on to duly deliver. And some! From sublime gurnard, to that deep rich broth, to a melt in your mouth tart. The sheer quality on each plate simply did not let up.We’ve been saying for a while now, Catch Weymouth may be Michelin Guide rated, but in all reality it is surely now becoming a solid Michelin 1 star experience.

Went to catch yesterday evening, have been many times before and loved the unique alacarte menu, they have now changed to a tasting menu. Was told the reason for this by the waiter was the rise in electricity prices (must think we were born yesterday). The first four course came out in good time, then after 4th course there was a massive delay in the kitchen, all the guests left in the restaurant were not receiving any food, you could see everyone looking to the kitchen. Then after about a 40 minute wait, bearing in mind that we arrived at 7.30 and it was now 9.40, the 5th course arrived, I promptly told the waiter I had lost the will to live and asked for the bill and left with only 4 courses under our belts. We were charged full prices and the arrogant waiter did not even apologise. Wow unbelievable how the standards have slipped here in a short amount of time, Mike you are only as good as the team around you and it looks like your team have gone from premier league to the conference. Very disappointing indeed.

What a stunning experience. We loved everything about our evening here. So much more than perfect food! Greeted by name upon arrival. Taken to a fantastic table upstairs. We had the 4 course tasting menu with wine pairing and everything about it was superb. Christian was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable. He's an absolute credit to this wonderful establishment. Altogether it was a flawless experience and an evening we will never forget. We will return! Thank you so much.

Outstanding!!!!From arrival to departure we were looked after. All the staff are exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable about each course and the wine.We will be returning! My only feedback was that I felt the restaurant was cold. However, it has high ceilings and is open plan! I imagine heating isn't easy and expensive! So I'll take a shawl next time it's not a problem.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a lift

The multiple fish courses are truly divine and obviously difficult to make. They taste as good as they look, the chefs deserve their Michelin star. we had interesting wine from around the world and we tasted complementary sparkling English wine. the meal was £240 on valentine night and we had an enjoyable evening. The only disappointment on quality and flavour was the Petit fours with limonchello. The wine flight was expensive at an extra £100 and not worth it.
