Mr P

I didn’t realise the best pasties in the world were served ice cold. What a complete disappointment.

Paid £5.50 for a traditional Cornish pastie.Have bought these lovely pasties from several other branches and really enjoyed them.I didn’t realise how much difference the temperature of a pastie makes to the enjoyment of said pastie. This one wasn’t even warm enough to be described as lukewarm, didn’t realise that until I had gone down the street a little and bit into it. So disappointed.

Can't visit Weymouth without grabbing a Cornish pasty from here ?

Quality food. My partner and I had a tuna baguette, cornish pasty and slice of cheese pizza between us and it was all beautiful. There's a Gregg's a few shops down, and as much as I don't mind them, the cornish bakehouse beats it hands down with not much difference in price.

Lovely bakery, reasonably pricefld and cheerful staff! Tried cheese onion bake, vegan sausage roll and chiken jhalfrezi bake. Loved it all.

Came in on Saturday 22nd October, for two cakes, two steak and ale pasties , one steak Stilton, and a lamb pastie , it came to £23.75 , sat down on bench to find they were greasy , hardly any steak but lots of potato, all pasties were vile they cost a lot more than other shops to be scammed no meat and what bit there was , yuk chewy and gristle, why say steak and ale steak and Stilton lamb ,, when there full of potato and veg , ripping people off even the pastry was not the best tuff and chewy mine went in bin , what a waste people beware,,,,

I'm a local and love the pasties and bakes from this place, the Thai red curry pasty is my favourite and love a Balti bake too. Staff are generally friendly and attentive. I'm a tad disappointed at the folk leaving bad reviews for bizarre and childish reasons. Yes they officially close around five and probably start to clean down before that time to avoid waste etc. I assume all bakers run to a similar routine. Anyway.. thumbs up from me ?

I went to get a coffee at a quarter to 4 to be told they couldn't make coffee as machine was cleaned. They told me they close at 4.30 I think it's a bit early to stop serving coffee, normally you would clean after close or 10 mins before, the town is still full in summer with people coming of the beach, in this day and age it's a shame for your company to lose money.
