We searched for a well established restaurants and all the brilliant reviews on Tripadvisor helped us settle on this one. Here are some things we'd like to share with you: * Lovely little restaurant on the seafront * Staff were attentive and friendly * Menu was nice and simple with great choices * We received a bread basket with butter * Wine was very nice indeed ^ Food was well presented, however were disappointed in the seasoning of the food and found it to be bland, needing to use the salt and pepper Although there were no prices for food on the website, giving the impression it would be very expensive - it was not too bad at all (price wise). Not overpriced, which was nice. It's difficult to know if the food was deliberately under seasoned, so you can put your own on, or if they just didn't hit the seasoning quite right on this occasion.

Lovely cosy evening meal at Hamiltons, while staying in Weymouth for a short break. Very convenient, as staying at a B&B on the Esplanade. Excellent main courses, Hake and Monkfish, served with fresh vegetables. My husband and I shared dessert of Mango and caramel tart, served with honey ice-cream, also excellent. Coffee to finish, lovely piping hot. Lovely atmosphere, and waiting staff. Many thanks to all.

The food here can be very good indeed as the Italian chef/owner clearly loves food, plus, he really highly skilled as he was trained by renowned chefs. However the atmosphere isn't that great, unless you can bag an outside table overlooking Weymouth Beach, the staff are friendly but everything is very hushed and too formal, so, it seems to be frequented by an older devoted clientele. It's very underrated so do go though, for the high-quality food and the stunning views alone, just tone it down if you're usually quite loud and boisterous.

A gem of a place, serving fabulous coffee and light bites, lunch and evening meals, staff are friendly and helpful, the best thing though is the view, sit outside on a good day with your coffee for amazing views of Weymouth bay.
