The hotel was up to Premier Inn normal high standard, we e ven went for the higher standard room for the first time and enjoyed the experience.Rooms: The standard of our room was very good and very clean.

Great location. Premier Inn itself seems to have gone downhill, starting to come across as the Ryanair of the hotel industry now they're asking for £10 to check into your room even just 10 mins early. The nice receptionist was happy for us to sit in the lobby and wait for 3pm. Spacious rooms, only downside is we didn't sleep very well because the room was roasting, even with turning the Aircon on it still didn't cool down and the windows aren't openable.

Have always stayed at this place when we visited family and never had an issue. However, this time, there was no heating in our room. When I raised this at reception, l was told they knew about it, but apparently, they didn't have another room to move us to???!!! We were given a little electric heater, but only after I raised the issue. The room itself looked very run down, just a lack of upkeep. Around the hotel, there are ceiling tiles missing, with pipes and cables hanging down. Overall, the stay was not the best I have had here, but I can not fault the staff they were helpful and polite.

Appalling experience first had to deal with receptionist with an attitude.Then ate in the beefeater, dirty sticky tables and very poor fillet steak.It was the worst hotel experience I have hadThen on my final morning realised that someone had entered my room and stolen an expensive woollen jumper I had hung up the night a day before… on 31st OctWill escalate this incident with police and managementRooms: Rooms was roomy I had a prem plus room the glass wear was gross and dirty cleanliness was not a priority - table in room was unclean I wiped floor was poorly hoovered the bed was great however.

stayed here for one night. As you would expect from premier inn. location is poor but we new that when we booked. room was large. clean linen and genraly ok. house keeping could be more attentive hoovering under bed etc.We arrived 30 minutes early for check in and we're told there was a room ready but 10 pound surcharge would apply for early check in. we politely declined.Breakfast was at the beefeater oppsitewhich had a good selection. the cooked option was not the best but the continental option was good. 19.00 option offers fair value at today's prices

I didn't have any cause to have any special service, so it would be unfair of me to comment on that. The rooms were nice and it was an easy place to stay. I would need room service if I ever stayed there on my own though. I would be happy to stay in a Premier Inn again.

Where shall we start with this Premier Inn? ?Arrived at Premier Inn 2:55pm to be told my room wasn't ready as they was short staffed on the cleaning team got told to come back in 30 mins. But on the booking, it says check-in from 3pm. Returned back to reception 30 mins later to be told they need to relocate me as my room still not ready. I was put up in room 216. As I arrived in my room, the door of 216 was wide open, with the cleaning team still cleaning nearby went to hunt down a cleaner a few rooms up to ask is my room ready as the cleaning trolley was outside it. The cleaner had a quick walk around it said yeah it was ready off they went. Closed the door then for privacy had a look a round let's say it was still a mess. The shower screen filthy under the bed had not been touched by a vacuum. The walls were filthy with stains and marks. The kettle I didn't want to touch had scale inside it. It's not been cleaned it felt really dirty and rushed, not what you pay for from a big hotel chain of Premier InnI have uploaded videos and pictures of my room 216Rooms: Dirty, and not looked after

Shocking experience: a male member of staff walked unannounced into our room in the middle of the day WITHOUT knocking AND with the do not disturb sign on, while my wife was alone working. She was frightened and shocked and too scared to shower incase he came back knowing she was alone. Completely out of order and that member of staff needs to be sacked. You do not just go into a room with the master key while the do not disturb sign is on.

Staff are friendly, but rooms aren't particularly clean and the free WiFi is wilfully bloody terrible. It legitimately took me 5 minutes to load Google to leave this review. If you want decent speeds, you'll have to fork out for it.Thankfully, paying my mobile network operator for extra data and tethering off of my phone was cheaper than giving Premier Inn more money.

A good, comfortable stay I expected from a Premier Inn. The check-in procedure here was a little slow on my visit due to a large group in front being served by just the one member of staff, and then there being a problem getting a second room key to be activated. The kettle was missing from the room to, so we had to ask for one.

All good but one of our three rooms wasn’t available for checkin until much later in the day. We attended a funeral so couldn’t hang around to wait. Had to get ready in one of the other rooms. Staff were accommodating and our third room was available on our return.Rooms were too hot and air conditioning would not allow setting below 19th C.Rooms: Rooms were ok just too warm

Black Mould in rooms. Hotel just stinks of black mould. They need to get a proper cleaning company in and give the whole hotel a detox and install windows that you can open in the rooms to combat this

Poor customer service and unprofessional staff. Ellie was fantastic and made our stay a little better. Beefeater and hotel staff not communicating and missed informed us. Hotel needs a good clean and the smell of mold isn't great.
