Ate here and was delighted with the food, the pub was bustling when I got there at 6pm. A very popular place and in a majestic setting.

The springhead pub/restaurant is set in an idyllic setting in Sutton Poyntz. With such a lovely setting and the quality of the decor we were expecting the food and drinks cost to be at the higher end.We had a lovely surprise to find realistic prices.Service by Kathy was was warm, friendly and welcoming. The food was great quality, nice and hot and plentiful. On a Friday night they have a special fish menu alongside the normal menu.We would thoroughly recommend the Springhead to others and look forward to visiting again when we visit weymouth.

My wife and I had a great little lunch here , The Mac n cheese sandwich I had was amazing and my wife's burger was cooked just right . Good atmosphere and friendly staff. It's in a lovely location and a great place to visit in the warmer weather as there is a lovely garden. Looking forward to our next

Very inviting pub/restaurant. Parking, extra field for overflow parking. Separate marque for evening dining/events. Didn't see set up. Childrens outside play area. Another pizza dining area. Overlooking the front of the Springhead is a stream full of ducks. Very beautiful with willow trees and benches to enjoy. The Springhead also their own benches so you can eat and drink overlooking too. At the back, the play area is facing fields. Due to covid a smaller menu, however, it is all still tasty. Well worth a visit whatever time of year.Feb 2024Visited again today and had a very tasty Sunday roast for a family of 4 with a dog. Wood burner was welcoming along with the staff. The food was delicious, and we will be back again in the future.

Great pub food. Carvery was very good; veg a bit too much on the crunchy side for my taste. Service was attentive. All in all a most pleasant experience.Vegetarian options: Meat free carvery available with vegetarian gravy as well as vegetarian option if preferred.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free gravy and yorkshire optionParking: Overspill parking so highly unlikely not to find a space to park
