I was staying at a nearby campsite so popped in one evening. Very friendly staff and the food was delicious so i returned the next day as well. Will definitely go back when visiting that way again. Sadly I didn't take any pictures of the food as it was so tasty that I ate it rather quickly haha.

We had passed The Victoria Inn on many occasions and decided to go in for Sunday Lunch. The woman behind the bar was really friendly and welcoming. The place is spotlessly clean, rather outdated decor but clearly well loved and cared for. The dinner was very good value at £10.50 with well cooked meat (choice of 3) along with very good roast potatoes and gravy. The veg was mostly frozen, as we would expect for this price, but perfectly fine. The puddings are traditionally English, syrup steamed pudding, spotted dick, crumble etc. We had the syrup steamed pudding with custard, again very nice. If you are looking for a good value Sunday lunch in a friendly, clean pub, then you can't go far wrong than the Victoria Inn.

We were camping on the farm opposite and went to pub (as you do ?) the landlady and landlord couldn't have been more friendly, funny or helpful. We enjoyed every meal (there were 7 of us all ordering different meals) all delicious, served together and hot, the Doom bar on tap was the best that we had tasted. Sunday lunches were exceptional and lovely puddings. Sorry but we will be coming back ??
