Very tasty food, stayed hot on way back to hotel. Good value for money as well. Was in and out fairly quick and service was polite. Not a problem at all but please be aware cash only - there is a cash machine a few metres from the door at Tesco though!Vegetarian options: Plenty of veggie options clearly marked on large menu displayed on wall indoors.

First time back here for a long time, and not disappointed. Lovely food with a good balance of ingredients. Chicken chow mein, beef curry was the main dishes. Curry sauce very nicely spiced. A bit too hot for one of our party members. Good portion sizes. Lady who answered phone who works on counter very friendly. I know people have different taste preferences about this style of food, but I would recommend this place.

Very friendly lady on counter, fair pricing per portion but i would reccomand some improvements on food.Ordered some chicken balls with sweet&sour sauce, i asked what tipe of noodles would they recomand me and they give me some with vegetables and a portion of rice as a side with noodles.Cicken balls very good, corect cooked but the sauce vasn't that great. Still ok, sweet but flavourless.Noodles with vegetables looking bery good but way too salted. Couldn't eat them.First, I thought is because i ate sweet&sour sauce before so i decided to give it a try hours later and still salted. Also asked my friend to taste and he also confirm there is way too much salt in it. Ended up bin it.Usualy, i have no expectations from the rice because is simple flat, boiled and you can't expect for a wonder but this one was full of flavour and taste. I really ejoyed it. What was supose to be a side i ate it as a main because was way too deliciois.Overall, average chicken balls&sweet sauce, a inedible salted portion of noodles with vegetables who went into the bin and a delicious side rice, vould say 3 stars.

Fresh and tasty Chinese food. I only popped to Tesco's and the smell was lovely and I couldn't resist. I ordered King Prawns in salt and pepper and chips. The prawns were very fresh, and the veg was too.Unfortunately Lee's Chop Suey doesn't take card or deliver, so I had to dock a star. If this review was based on the food alone - it would be a solid 5/5.

Had a Chinese last week - always smells lovely when in tescos - so wrong! The most bland tasteless meal I have ever had. £16.40 wasted- went to sunrise the next night and was gorgeous

Best Chineese takeaway in Chester le street and Birtley, all the veg is fresh and the cooking is spot on, can't fault this place at all, ordered house special curry fried rice and salt and pepper chicken and it was perfect.👍
