We actually got the food to take away however i rang previous to our order because i am gluten free and the person on the phone was very helpful and let me know what was in the dish i wanted. We ordered the korma with vegetable rice ( absolutely stunning!) My partner had the lamb madras with again vegetable rice and a nan bread and chips ...it was absolutely beautiful the delivery was brilliant everything came piping hot 10/10 will definitely be back! Thank you so much

Our favourite Indian restaurant in Chester-le-street! Authentic, tasty, consistent and fresh.Highly recommend the Madhav Puri - unbelievable.Takeaway are just as tasty as the restaurant meals, but the service you receive in the restaurant makes it well worth booking a table.

Cancelling orders without reason given. Very disappointing. There’s also a price disparity between the diet and standard can of Coca Cola of 25% extra. The SDIL rate for this item is 6p, not 25p.

Ordered food online through food hub.It didn’t turn up, phone number didn’t pick up.Waited an hour and a half no food and got told from food hub to wait another hour

Shame for this restaurant, the food was nice and very affordable ?, the waiter was friendly and welcoming. No one in there but us which was slightly sad and caused a lack of atmosphere. Hope the locals support them more often in future.

I didn't get the chance to eat any food from here because when i rang up for a delivery the man who answered the phone didn't understand english so after trying to explain my address seven times I hung up and ordered from somewhere else

Always a great meal! The lamb balti is the best outside Birmingham I've enjoyed.

Never understand how you can go to any supermarket and buy 3 large chicken breasts for about £6 but when you get a chicken curry you only ever seems to get half a chicken breast or £1-50 worth of chicken when the curry costs £9-11… Why Does the sauce cost £5 per portion ( no )

Just had a delicious takeaway. King prawn massala. Huge portions. The Keema nan had loads of Keema in. Definitely recommend.

Very amazing food but everything not real indian cuisine.Staff is very friendly and same time professional BUT there are some minor things that staff need to know about behaving with costumers, one of our waiter tap my shoulder twice while he talk. And he was very talkative even though we didn’t wish to hear.
