The pub has quite recently changed ownership and whilst previously it was somewhere clean and friendly it was not somewhere I would choose to eat in as it was chain frozen food. Now however it is still clean and friendly with beautiful freshly cooked food. The menu options are excellent with traditional favourites and more! I truly hope that this continues and that word spreads as it is a welcome addition to the area.

New owners doing a great job. Lovely piping hot tasty food. Table service, chips especially good, not frozen muck. Kids portions massive, simple sausage chips and beans would suffice. Could do with a kids burger and chips maybe, and a steak knife. Early days but everything great.

A nice meal . It was a treat from my sister and brother in law. We had . Steak Chicken and lasagne. All were amazing. Well worth a visit .

Called in to give the Whitehills a trying. Great menu, fab service and the prices were reasonable too. We only had a snack. The home-made Natcho were top notch. Definitely be going on a regular basis. Well worth a visit.

I’ve been to this pub a couple of times now and it never disappoints The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and the the food is tasty and great value for money I was in there twice this week I had a chicken burger and chips one day and a cheese and bacon burger and chips another day The service was great and food was lovely Will be interesting on my next visit as one of the members of staff says they are changing hands Let’s hope they keep the great staff and the quality of the food
