I went here with 4 friends for lunch. We had to wait 30 mins to get a table but it was worth the wait, the food is lovely.

Food was excellent and service equally as good but having to wait up to 45 mins just to be seated, when there is no actual waiting area, just an attached retail shop spoiled the experience. Don't understand why a booking process isn't available.

My first visit to Quarry Tea House and must say the ambience, staff and food was 1st class, will definitely visit again when I'm back in the area, and the best thing was that there was no intrusive music blaring away, the background soundtrack of chatter, conversation and clinking of cutlery in tableware was truly delightful.

Absolutely fantastic cafe, the food quality is out of this world, the staff are lovely and accommodating. We need a place like this in a little village like Hunwick. It’s a hidden gem. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

They've definitely gone for a sugary sweet, cutesy style with the café decor.Went for breakfast, which was both very good quality and good value.Service was friendly, but not the fastest. It took 10 minutes to have our order taken and 40 minutes for the food to arrive. That was the only negative really. Hopefully this isn't the norm. They also ask for payment as the order was taken, which isn't usual in my experience. The café also had a very enticing bakery counter... might have to visit again to try those!

I hadn't heard of The Quarry Tea House until last week, but it's a lovely place! I had a delicious Eggs Florentine, cooked to perfection. The staff were wonderful - attentive, efficient and friendly, and the restaurant itself is beautifully and thoughtfullydecorated. I highly recommend eating here.

Second visit here and did not disappoint. It is more expensive than your usual cafe/tea house but the food is very good as is the ambiance/decor. I had hot beef sandwich and chips. This was £10 , the beef was very thick and the chips home cooked - lovely meal and very filling. Saying this drinks are reasonably priced whereas some places are charging double for a soft drink and deserts were average prices so it balances bill out. Visited as family of 4 and it cost £60 for lunch. Everyone really enjoyed their choices. I can’t wait to sit outside in the nicer weather. Outside area looks lovely
