The staff were polite, friendly and helpful over the course of the evening. The food was lovely and we all felt comfortable and happy.Vegetarian options: My mother is a vegetarian and cannot eat peppers. The staff were very helpful when suggesting menu items and assured her that her food had not come into contact with peppers at all.Parking: There is plenty of parking round the back of the restaurant with a few spaces out front.

Quite possibly the worst experience of our lives.. To start we were told there was limited options on the menu. When we came to order there was even less. When the starters arrived the waitress had got one of the dishes wrong. Which meant one person had to wait for their right order while the others were eating. Meanwhile someone else’s starter had a lovely hair resting on their calamari. So two people sat without food watching the other two try eat soup with a fork as we were given no cutlery.. When the mains had arrived we ordered a round of drinks from the waitress who then disappeared. We then ordered again from someone else after 20 minutes of waiting. The waitress then reappeared and served us our drinks. We asked if she had forgotten about us in which they replied “No, I just have a lot of overwhelming jobs to do” (we were the only people left in the restaurant). In fairness the barman was nice and friendly and had given a discount for the inconvenience. Safe to say we will not be returning..

Got there 6:30ish.Told they are stopping service early.Ran out of Sunday dinners.Limited zero alcohol drinks.Food was beautiful, only problem is running out of dinners.Steak was a delight, although I asked for medium well got mediumish, still good.Great staff, nice country pub to bring someone you love or even the wife.

Lovely lunch on a Wednesday. It was busy so we should have booked but we weren't in a rush so didn't mind the wait they warned us about. Food was excellent. Very tasty. Will come again and try more.
