The only problem I had today was the steak pies from the bakery, I've seen more meat on my grandson and he's skinny.

Not the correct hours! Advertised 24 hours but close upstairs at 9:30pm!

This Asda is big and on two floors, I have not been on the second floor as my injury knee has problems going down. The Pharmacy and Optician are very helpful and the parking is great. They recycle cloths etc, but not bottles etc, which is surprising. Like all Asda it provides for its local population, so things that can be found in an Asda in Manchester are not available. Still the people as usual are friendly and helpful as in all Asdas.

I was in store today 14/02/24 at 14.02 pm with my elderly mother as we go there regularly.Whilst we were at the trolley self service checkout, I needed some carrier bags so we got 3 from a very polite and helpful young man. As I was scanning the bags I had an issue scanning one of the bags and so my mother turned to a lady staff member that was stood talking to 2 colleagues and said excuse me to which the lady staff member replied “what do you want now?”She then came over reluctantly to help as if it was such an inconvenience for her, she was not a bit polite to us in doing so, and then returned to her colleagues and continued to talk to them.Is this the norm now for Asda staff to speak this way to customers ? It really upset my mother. It’s not just extremely bad customer service, it’s RUDE!

I come to shop here almost every week. Asda is the best place for shopping. very good customer service and open almost 24/7.

Ordered through just eat from the cafe and the food and experience was very poor.Food was cold when it arrived. My panini wasn't toasted. The breakfast was served and crammed into a cardboard box which didn't look / taste appealing at all.Delivery was extremely slow too.I also felt like it was over priced. Definitely not value for money and disappointing. Wouldn't order from just eat from asda cafe again.

The Cafe is an absolute joke, we visited today at 15.40 the worst customer service ever, the staff have no training very rude, speak to customers like garbage we were greeted with "what do you want " the pizza is cold horrible and when we asked about why she has given us 5 chips she said she couldn't be bothered to put more chips in .

Staff are rude. No manners. We doing your job for you when going through checkouts. So when a customer as a problem just do your job.

They close doors on one side after a certain time. cigarette counter closes early on their whim even though many staff could operate it (meant to be 9 but has closed at 8 many times), baskets may or may not be there when you walk in, staff are friendly in the store, especially alcohol and will go out of their way to the store back to get what youd like. At the tills it's another matter, many stood talking and seem bothered you need them to press buttons on the self service tills. They've never been ok in the last few years and it's only got worse to help customers. Try and avoid Asda Portrack as it just enrages me they have the staff there to do things but they don't. Doesn't surprise me as the company doesn't pay them enough to care so I'd probably be the same.

Possibly the worst place I have spent hard earned cash.Went in for one thing, they didn’t have it.

Always been a great place to shop . BUT don't think the staff are very helpful. Got asked to use the lift as the escalator woz out of use I asked how far away are there as I'm not very good on my pins . She looked at me and with her head says over there . Not down to the other end of the building. And the girls on the self help tills were not helpful at all . Next time I'll go to Tesco .. they know how to look after the customer.

Of all the Asda branches locally, this is my favourite for visiting. Firstly, it's two floors with a trolley-friendly escalator, the shelves are usually well-supplied [notwithstanding depot shortages], and staff attitude, friendliness and approachability seem to be so much better than found in plenty of other grocers. If you're a Blue Badge holder try and get there early before the self-entitled & unqualified yahoos steal all the spaces, despite the perfectly large enough carpark (same everywhere!), and watch your backs with all the pickers flying around for those who can't be bothered to go in for themselves, and by doing so are hastening the day when walk-in shops will start to become extinct! Just like Check-out operators are already doing.
