If you are looking for delicious home cook food at a reasonable price then this is the place to come. The Steak and Ale pie is to die for. Staff really friendly and helpful.

Really lovely Sunday lunch, sharing platter was more than enough for two, with a selection of meats which were really good. Staff are welcoming and friendly.

Booked table for 9 people in advance for birthday celebration. Waited ages for our meal. Our table was in garden room and told to “keep quiet” because of quiz. Food very

First time coming here for Sunday lunch, and I definitely wasn't disappointed. The food was delicious, the best Sunday roast I've ever had. The staff were all lovely and friendly, even the landlady came and spoke to us and she was lovely ! It's an extra bonus that is also dog friendly and has a lovely garden to sit in. Would 100% recommend it.

Lovely little pub which we attended for a baby shower, the staff were really nice and on arrival escorted us to a little out building. It was brick walled and my niece had decorated it and it looked fab, It cost her £70 to hire. We then had a Sunday carvery which was delicious loads of meat and fresh veggies would defo go for a carvery again

Hosted our baby shower at the Tavern and had such a lovely time! We had the £10pp buffet menu and it was lovely! Plenty of food to go round and the mini parmos were great. We had quite a few people with nut allergies and vegetarians and they were all catered for. Thanks again xx

Went with family for a meal on Sat night we waited 1.1/4hrs and we were all disappointed. I ordered fish pie and there was no sauce it was tasteless! The meals were usually good but something has changed the management or the chef but won't be going back!
