Second time trying this local Chinese, thought the first time may have been an off night so tried some different dishes and the quality does not match the price at all.I had the beef in black bean, the sauce was flavoursome but unfortunately all the beef was tough as old boots. I tried the "honey chilli crispy chicken" this was essentially soggy bits of battered chicken floating in greasy water with a chilli to garnish. No honey, not crispy really disappointing. Finally to try the parts any take away can cook i ordered the salt and pepper box. The chips were nice and so was the rice. Everything else was of very poor quality. 4 massive chicken balls that were majority heavy thick batter. Spare ribs without any meat on. A few more of the "crispy chicken" and a few spring rolls.Even the prawn crackers are charge £2 for and they were stale.Honestly really nice staff and a friendly enough but if you have a car or want actual Asian cuisine this would be my last choice.

This is the second time now, I've ordered curry and chips to find the chips in the centre freezing cold! Clearly made on a different day and warmed up for sale. Disgusting.

I’ve lived in the Stockton area for 25+ years and tried many Chinese takeaways most were disappointing. We tried Wo Ping a couple of weeks ago and last night but meals were excellent, the special curry could do with being a bit thicker but it was still very good. Last night I had chicken in chilli and garlic., it was outstanding. The chicken was good quality and the vegetables had good texture, not overcooked. Probably better to order ahead, the first time I didn’t realise how busy it would be so I had a bit of a wait.

Would give more stars than 5. Fantastic food, travel 4 miles avoiding local Chinese worth every mile traveled. Won't go anywhere else.

Heard many good things about Wo Ping. Recently tried it for the first time and unfortunately we didn’t think it was great. Also pretty pricey in comparison to other Chinese takeaway’s, rice/sides are not included with main dishes. Cost well over £30 for two mains and a starter.Although the prawn toast was very good, one of the best I’ve had, but missing the sweet and sour sauce which often makes it!

Called in when passing, usually phone ahead so as expected 10 mins wait while its being cooked. During that short wait, the phone never stopped ringing with orders, a testament to how good Wo Ping is. Opted for house special Wo Ping garlic and chilli and as previous visits a perfect meal. Will we return - be foolish to go elsewhere

Last 3 times (i allowed 3time before writing this review ) beef Ans mushroom curry has been pretty much a onion and mushroom curry . And at £9.20 it's unacceptable .. I accept the cost of living and food etc has risen . It had for all of us . At best there is £1 of product in that meal .. that's me and my business going. Elsewhere

The best in the area - never had bad meal from here. Won't go anywhere else for a Chinese takeaway. They mixed our order up once with someone else's but the different dishes we hadn't ordered were still very tasty - one of the dishes we hadn't ordered was liver and onions ( obviously off the English section) but OH MY GOD it was THE BEST LIVER AND ONIONS I've ever tasted - totally authentic - although I don't know why I was surprised going y the usual high standard of food we get from there

We we’re going to go out for Chinese food but after reading reviews decided to go to local takeaway instead we got a Munch Box & a King Prawn Da Da. We couldn’t even eat the Munch Box TBH ( still 2 chicken ball & ribs left ) plus the King Prawn meal for tomorrow night. Only reason not 5 out of 5 was the Curry Sauce portion too small - service spot on
