“Friendly village pub. Lovely open fire. Lots of seating and a beer garden for when the weather warms up. Definitely worth another visit.Only downside: people vaping inside?”

“Beautiful venue, has a very cosy welcoming with a combination of wood and coal fire aromas flying about, the staff are as polite as anything.NOTE FOR VEGGIES - check menu before coming, my partner was very limited to choices she could have, was literally 1 starter and a couple mains.For starter I had the Italian bomb which was one of the tastiest starters I’ve ever had, beautiful creation and packed full of flavour.Partner had garlic mushrooms with the cheese melted on top and was very rich and tasted fantastic.The hanging kebab is quite overpriced for £23 for what it is and the amount of meat you get, did not understand why it comes with a naan bread either, naan bread just crumbled so couldn’t really do anything with it, wouldn’t buy that dish again sadly as the meats tasted great.Partner had the teriyaki halloumi and she said it was faultless.Overall a very nice visit and I’ll happily return, just avoid that kebab next time.”
