Got takeaway chips sausage, gravy chips and battered sausage and chips. The chips were the worst I’ve had from here. Chips had obviously been in the warmer for a while judging by taste of them nothing fresh about them. Very scrappy. Wish I’d have realised that before driving to the bridge to eat them.Put us off going back.

We don't have fish and chips very often, because the chips are usually soggy, and the fish is too small, BUT went to Papa's last night and was really impressed. Best for years.

Eat here for mother's day, do it was probably busier then normal.All in our party enjoyed food especially the paties.Friendly staff and quick service considering how busy it was.

Fish and chips nice, Yorkshire tea nice, was very disappointed with my burger though, quality of meat left a lot to be desired. When we have places like Wendy's around you need to step up the burger game.
First time visit and took my mother and family on one of the busiest days of the year...what can go wrong!?! The resounding answer is nothing, it was perfect?A fantastic table with a window which felt like a private booth, the menu wasn't altered so all the traditional favourites at normal prices - what a refreshing change.The service was excellent, the food fantasticWe had small fish and chips (plenty for us) and Mussels and chips, the portion of Mussels was huge, fantastic value and really tastyI couldn't fault it at all and will definitely be back soon

Food was lovely and staff were very friendly. However the food took almost an hour to arrive. We didn't mind too much as we were a large party so we were chatting. But the service could definitely have been quicker.

Another excellent trip to papa's, had to be Willerby again this time as the others have closed, service and food was excellent, took mum for her birthday and she likes fish and chips! Hopefully they won't close this one too, even though its a 40min drive to get there for us, would use again and recommend ?Parking: Easy to park for restaurant or take awayKid-friendliness: They welcome kids and have children's menus
