Celebrated a wedding anniversary, excellent meal, friendly staff. Could of been better options on the dessert menu for diabetics (I am borderline diabetic), other than that I cannot fault my experience.Parking: Located in the pub grounds

Due to being unable to access the system to know about our online booking. We were asked how many the table was for. We were shown up the stairs to choose a table. Restaurant not busy. Asked what drinks we required when we were handed menu's. Drinks arrived and we gave our order. Our meal arrived promptly. We had no other contact until we left our table to pay at the front desk. The meal was very good. Only criticism was that we were not approached at any time throughout our meal even though there were no more than 2 other tables being used.

Fabulous Sunday lunch, great quality food and excellent service. Only minor niggle they didn’t do a gluten free Yorkshire pudding.

Very underwhelming. We had a 30% discount voucher so we went, the portions were on the small side and slightly overcooked. It was OK with the discount but would have felt a bit miffed at full

I booked a table for four online. We had a lovely corner table and our waitress was very polite and friendly. The food was delicious. Would

Unfortunately the food was not great and overall our meal was disappointing. We had booked this as a treat to stop in for dinner with our young daughter after visiting The Deep. The selection on the early bird menu was poor and this was not indicated on the website. We ended up ordering from the main menu - the food that arrived was not good value for money. Our daughter's meal was from the kids menu and her veggie burger was missing cheese - in fact it was just a veggie burger in a bun. My homemade kebab did not seem to come with everything listed on the menu. I ordered a large glass of house red which should have been tempranillo - they brought a medium glass of Merlot. When I queried the size of the glass they did bring another which I wasn't charged for - however, the service was slow and at a very quiet time there wasn't any need for this. The glasses were dirty and the highchairs need replacing. The pub itself looks lovely and we had a lovely window seat looking out on a lovely beer garden - it was such a shame the food was not up to scratch. It has put us off visiting again.Vegetarian options: Good selection of veggie options - though a lot of stuff came with chips.
