Lovely birthday lunch, very good service too! The only slight criticism is that i asked for the ploughmans lunch and the menu wasn't very informative as to the contents so i asked the waitress and she confirmed that it included ham , however it didnt and that would have really made it 10/10.Would definitely recommend and return however

We love it here, always busy but the staff are lovely and the food is great. The specials board is always worth a look, some really interesting options. Highly recommend.

It's just proper nice. Service like your favourite Aunt or your sister is looking after you when you're hungry and need a bit of TLC on a weekend and everyone else around you is too busy. Food is always lovely, whatever you order, but the Yorkshire curd and their scones are a bit special.

Our first time to this wonderful establishment. The food was terrific. The service was extremely efficient. What always makes our visits tremendous are the staff. The staff work so hard and very accommodating but more important is how they represent the company. They were warm and friendly, such a delight and we cannot wait to return. Well done to all at Kavanaghs Cafe and Tea Rooms of Beverley Love from the Caistor Couple say in the corner xx

First visit from going in the staff were friendly and the home Cooked food was delicious you might have to wait for your food but it’s worth the wait and we weren’t rushed and one of the ladies (kat) had a chat with us my friend and I would recommend this cafe and it’s independent

It was really busy as it was on a Saturday, however a really nice gentleman found us a table on the ground floor near the window, l had fish and chips and we couldn't fault anything, would go back there

We came to this place for lunch and ordered 2 sandwiches and 2 teas. The green tea was excellent and usually in other places green tea ends up a bit poor so I was very happy it tasted perfect. Very smooth taste and not over brewed. The staff were really friendly and happy having a bit of banter.I had the coronation sandwich on white, they had nuts in which changed the texture of the sandwich towards a bit of a negative. Probably the first place to add nut that I've been to, I'd rather cut out the nuts. The flavour was average, the bread was nice. The sign on the door said cash only so we went to the bank but when paying they had a card machine so can't decide on that one, I recommend been prepared and get cash just in case.It was very busy which suggests it's good. We have only been once but would recommend you try it for yourself.
