Stopped at Dacre Lakeside Lodges and this was place was recommended by the lovely staff at the Dacre Arms (separate review, in short, great food, great staff)Looked at some of the reviews and was a little put off but decided to go with the recommendation anyway.Glad we did, beef in black bean sauce and Singapore chow mein, absolutely lovely, ready in fifteen minutes.I would definitely go back here if I wanted Chinese another night ????

Absolute joke. Waited 2.30 minutes for food. Ended up cancelling! Tell customers the truth about how long food is going to be for a delivery! Used for years… NEVER AGAIN…

We decided to go and collect the pizza because of the reviews. The pizza was very nice and the service was good so glad we went.

Ordered donner meat and chips for delivery no chips come, so rang back up and asked for the chips she told me to wait 30 minutes for my chips i said my donner meat will be cold by then so agreed to send me new donner meat and chips as originally ordered 2 hours later still no food then get rang back up to go get my money back. Absolute disgrace of a place

Not great overall, all the food was very greasy didn't even touch donner kebab after i took 1 look at it, the grease made the pitta bread fall to bits, and Pizzas were covered in grease too, a takeaway is a treat these days so very disappointing experience

Don't go there took nearly an hour to get a fish and chips and sausage and chips. Both were cremated and inedible, staff haven't got a clue what they're doing

My friends and I were staying at the Dacre lakeside park and the menu was in the lodge so we had a look and was going to order the first night but got put off by the reviews so went to a different place. On the last night we were all exhausted and so hungry so ordered from here as it delivers straight to the lodge door and all I can say is i am glad we did as it was amazing. Came so quick was very hot, such reasonable prices for portion sizes and the staff were so helpful on the phone and for delivery. I normally don’t write reviews but feel I need to as we got put off by the reviews, so many others would too but this was by far the best food we had that weekend. We had a mixture of Chinese and kebabs and had not one bad thing to say! So please take the reviews with a pinch of salt.

If this place concentrated on just providing one type of cuisine it may be better, but they try to do it all- Chinese, pizza, fish and chips, kebabs, burgers, etc. The quality of everything is pretty poor, but they have a captive audience. There are no alternatives in the vicinity. Deliveries can take hours to arrive as they prioritise walk ins and collections, but I’ve personally waited 45minutes in the takeaway for a pizza and burger. The pizza was ready in 10minutes and was sat on top of the pizza oven for over half an hour while I waited for them to get round to cooking the burger. Generally, the Chinese food is ok and the pizza is edible, but quality is far from great. I wouldn’t recommend unless you’re desperate!
