Must have caught them on a bad day. Two couples who ordered after us were served first.Ordered fish pie just warm with lumpy potatoes on top and plate full of mainly cold vegetables. Lots of them for big eaters.Can only assume they were dished up and forgotten to be brought out to the table.The staff were very pleasant, but I would expect that in Yorkshire. Sadly wont be going again.

Called in for a quick half pint whilst I was waiting for a train. It was a Saturday, so It was fairly busy, service was quick and friendly though.

Had a bite to eat Saturday mid afternoon.Just (thanks to the bar staff!) got the order in before they ended food service.Food was excellent, atmosphere nice and pleasant staff.As we left, next table was having a Cream Tea which looked magnificent....

Afternoon tea - was amazing, we couldn't eat it all and had to take it home. sandwiches, scotch egg, sausage roll, pork pie, quiche, cheese scones, plain scones, fruit scones, banana cake, flap cake, Victoria sponge, fruit cake, chocolate sponge, meringue, macarons highly recommenced, staff friendly.

Tickton walking football had their Christmas celebrations here, and we all enjoyed coming here. The staff cater for those with dietary needs, beer is good.

Popped in late on Saturday night, friendly staff, welcoming feel, we caught the end of the singers set ,he sang some really good music, plenty of dancing..

A big thanks to the lovely staff at The Queens Head. We booked a table for seven, ages ranging from 1 to 65. Lovely food and kind, hard working staff willing to accommodate all of our choices. Would certainly recommend.
